did any of your bike tires have flatout sealant in them? my fanttikk air inflator still works after faltout but it no longer reads the correct air presssure, the only way for me to inflate is to keep shutting it off and checking the pressure with a handheld digital air gauge.

Yes the Speedster tire has FlatOut in there. I didn’t notice any difference between the three as far as inflating them.

cool product I’ve been working in the bicycle industry for over 20 years and I honestly have to rant here. I do not understand this whole fat tire craze. I get it if you’re riding in the snow and nasty mud, but most of these box are written on city street neighborhoods and Bike pads, why does anyone need a four or a 4 1/2 inch tire. They’re super heavy if the bike had normal wheels you could shed probably 15 pounds off of the bike they would get you farther and more efficient. Is it because they look cool I just don’t get it.😊😊😊

They provide better traction at higher speeds on the street, as well as provide a better ride compared with most standard bike tires (not including suspension in the mix). I would venture to say, they are pretty good for off-roading too, with the right tire. And yeah, I think they look pretty cool too. 😎

@@RandyRides well, if you’re wanting maximum traction and comfortability, you need to drop those tires down to at least 15 psi at 20 you’re probably bouncing down the road like a basketball. In fact you could probably get away with running 10 pounds of air in those 4 inch wide tires I don’t get it to each other as long as people are out there writing.

For me it's comfort and grip. The weight isn't an issue. If you've never ridden on fat tyres, I highly recommend it. Being able to mount a curb at walking pace and having no need to lift yourself off the seat, or fear of damaging the tyre or rim. That's part of the joy. I find that the people working in bike shops, have the most negative opinions on fat bikes. 3 of 4 out of the local bike shops near me were extremely negative when I phoned them recently. They all had zero stock of tubes and tyres. Only one would order some tubes for me. I ordered tyres from China, great stuff and super cheap. I didn't need to go to the bike shop after all. You'd think they'd be wanting to bend over backwards, to keep you from discovering you can get it delivered to your door, and at half the price. Personally, I would prefer service locally with English speaking sales people, but they don't seem to care.
