looks like a great project. lot of rust repair for sure. old farmer welds seem to last forever, get er done for a job that needs to be done. sounds like a nice running motor

Great video Randy! Over all I'd say it's a pretty good machine. It's amazing how easy it started once you fixed the wires and plug. I can't believe how nice the fenders are. Normally they are pretty beat up.

@@Randys_Relics I'm not sure how far you plan on going with this,but Detwilers does amazing work on spoked wheels. I'm sure it would be a little pricy,but I've seen there working and it's top notch.

I drove to Minnesota from Kansas for one. :p Got mine setup for pulling but its just stock tractor with wheels and hitch. Got a little video on my channel. Its a 37

best way to find 4th is pull up on the shifter so it literally comes up out of trans top just a bit, the end has to travel up over a gate to engage.

I noticed that after shifting a few times. Kinda odd but seems like the best way.

The fuel air mix still sounds a tiny amount rich. Not sure why. Might be float height or needle leaking on the float needle.

Say about that silly thing not starting. The magnets need strengthened. If ya'll put on a magnet restrengthener she will start first pull. The magnets are weak in the magneto. When ya'll put the coils on to make the magnets strong rap the magnets sharply with a very small hard hammer. In that transmission ya'll should spray degreaser around everywhere and then put new gear oil in her.

would never own any vehicle that has diesel with these prices. sorry but I never would have bought it.
