Try shooting it with the extended magazine it gives you a better grip and is still good for concealed carry. I went threw the process of trying several different pistols for conceal carry, this is by far MY favorite and the only one I carry!

Flashlight helps with ID people in low light situations. Also light can help mitigate some of the recoil by adding weight up front.

Ive got one and your comments/critiques are valid. However, I put over $400 in CGW upgrades including short reset, adjustable sear, and every other trigger upgrade CGW offers for the 2075. Ive had friends tell me the double action is better than SW revolvers and the SA is a crisp/light pull at just over 3#. The grip is extremely short but I like it cause it fits perfectly in my front pocket with a pocket holster. When Im carrying IWB or OWB, I throw in the extended 14rd mag and I can get a full grip. If you wanna give it a whirl, reach out. Im in the greater Houston area.

I found the grip small but added the magazine Butt extension. For me this is the only personal carry I consider.. feels great in my hand..

I love my RAMI. The “double action” pull is great as it is actually half cocked in reality. Only dry firing it puts in true double action. The RAMI takes all CZ 75 mags too.

I have large hands, but thinner fingers and yes the slide stop is ackward and the gun is a bit to heavy for its size but it is good. BTW one can use regular CZ 75 magazines with this pistol and there are printing patterns for magazine sleeves online.

I have enjoyed my warmed over P226 RX Legion a lot. But, I wanted a subcompact in DA/SA for carry. So, I found a new RAMI BD. Sent it to Cajun Gun Works for a trigger job and milled it for a Romeo X. I was able to get the magazine horn for a 3 finger grip and the extended 14 round magazines, either is a must.. It works great now! Fixed almost all shortcomings. It is the same length and height as a P365XL. The P365XL is 1.1 inches wide and the RAMI is 1.25. If you’re ever up in Michigan, you can take it for a spin. Cheers, Tony Ps. the only other option I would consider now is the Beretta PX4 Storm for a DA/SA sub compact.

You can’t compare this to a Glock. Any Glock. This is a metal framed hammer fired pistol. Nothing like a Glock. Except the size and lots of companies have this size.

P01 is a compact 75 and still produced. Maybe not the mushy omega trigger but the normal one still is.

I have a 2075 Rami as it was one of the first guns that I bought. I like the build quality of CZ’s and this gun, but as you mentioned the ergos of the trigger reach is quite a stretch and the mag drop is a minor issue. Being right handed I actually changed the mag release button to the right side of the gun which seemed to help with mag releases. I have a CZ P01 Omega that I like better but since the Rami was discontinued I will keep the Rami in my collection and even though I don’t shoot it often I do still like it.

BTW a guy on ebay has slightly modified the Pierce magazine floor plate for the 10 round magazine. With three fingers the recoil is no problem. When finished I spent as much on it as the P226, but it is worth it to me. Cheers

Yes, putting the pistol on half cock reduces trigger pull and shortens the reach to the trigger significantly. This is how I carry my Rami.

CZ SA/DA pistols are carried half cocked. That is what the decocker is for. Carrying the RAMI with the hammer down lengthens the trigger pull needlessly. Your sights are off. That's probably why both you and your wife are shooting to the left.

I own the safty version I shoot it very well. I'm able to touch holes at 25 yards with a rest. Although I will be changing the trigger shoe I get pinched with the stock trigger I know it's coming when I shoot so it. Love the gun I have the 75b omega I like it as well.

This is not a 75 subcompact. This is based off the cz 40 b. It’s a compact cz 40 b.

Why does anyone need a Red Dot, Light, Laser, for CC? RU planning to go to war? It's just what it is, A CC design firearm, it should be less cumbersome/concealable as possible. Also, the heavier DA pull can and hopefully prevent accidental shooting. Yes, it is a bit heavier than a polymer frame, but it is not designed for competition fast action shooting. It does what it is expected to do. Put round after round down range without fear of malfunction. Also, the DA/SA Decocking design makes any handgun the safest for CC. Although the model is presently listed as discontinued, they are still manufactured, only in greatly smaller batches than in previous years. Thus making it almost impossible to purchase in the US. 🙁 If you can find one, get one.
