Fitted mine this weekend. What a pain! I had real issues with the rain channel supplied which snagged on the seal as the tailgate closed. Ended up using the old one. Instructions are vague, but worth it in the end.

Hello from Wisconsin. I'm also interested in your conclusion. I want to replace my rusty frame. I found a good frame from Tennessee with shattered glass. Need to swap my glass into that frame! Any advice? Thanks and thanks for posting this video

Sir why not reusing the original tail gate glass with the new frame, knowing that the new glass doesn't have the transparent center stop light?

@@danb37 Hello Dan hope you are doing well. Usually the original Land Rover frames from the late 80's to 90's models can't be dismantled like early models. Because they come pressed around the glass as a one piece from factory. So better you buy just a frame kit without a glass from Famous Four, or other parts source.

Ahmed Alhoraibi you can buy the entire set as a single unit. I would be worried that dismantling the new assembly and putting in the old glass might create leaks if I take apart the frame.

Panoramic Adventure The reason I asked you sir is because I found the frame set on its own made of aluminium without the glass for $600, but after I saw your video I thought the glass couldn't be removed until you just said that it might be done. Thank you for your reply.

Ahmed Alhoraibi you should find the frame with glass on eBay for $588.
