Range Rover L322 LED side light upgrade

As one of my side light bulbs has blown it seemed like a good time to swap them out for LED bulbs 😀

What bulb brand did you buy, please? And did you find them ok? Any links please? Trying to upgrade all the bulbs to LEDS but the ones I keep buying are crap!

What have you done to stop the bulbs flashing when the cars bulb out system fires the 2v pulse to check the bulbs? The system will see the bulb so no dash warning but the 2v pulse is enough to make the led flash on and off every time the constant testing is done

Hmmm 🤔 I didn’t notice any ‘test’ flashes... but then I didn’t spend long looking while they were off. I’ll see over the coming days I suppose...

I did upgrade on my Disco 3 the LEDs i used where rubbish the little LEDs where flasing after about 48 hour ..Get good quality LEDs?

These bulbs actually came with an internal resistance which stops the car from thinking a bulb is blown.

You’re right. I was surprised the headlights had to come out just for access to the bulbs, but actually it only takes a few minutes (when you know how) 👍

Standard stuff, as in filament bulbs? I’ve had LED bulbs last ages before... but must admit these were pretty cheap! 😂

Garry R I agree, These LEDs look cool but they just don’t last. You’ll find they will start strobing after a while, they just don’t last

I’ve had these too. They won’t last long at all and will Flickr. Cree ones lasted longer but in all honesty, just halogen is just less hassle in the end.

RUSS You can’t nick them with bonnet shut. Most ppl know how to nick LR lights anyway.
