Hi Alan - Craig @ Camtech has suggested using PPF ontop - paint protection film.

That sounds good. Hard anodizing would work too. With anodizing, you could get some cool colors too.

Looks Great. You could embellish Range Rover or could you do the logo L405 has between the doors on there? Thinking of you shooting comment you could do county scene, flying pheasant or something. Just ideas for you. Great videos.

Hi i need to be careful as some items like the word "Range Rover" are protected by copyright and I do not want to upset Land Rover ! But i like the idea of the line drawing of the L405 and the pheasant.... I will ask our very talented Ben to take a look.

Hiya when you fitted your aluminium strips on your dashboard would it not be better to pop the starter button out and the glove box button out so when you put the strip on it may look better. Yet again another great job Simon and Tyler👍👍👍 Ralph Cooling

We did try this - to cut the covers so that the switch would fit through the panel but it did not work - the switch sits out to far and does not locate in its mounting "tunnel" that why i made the other dash videos you will see tomorrow / yesterday.

Just picked a set up for my L405 - the packaging isn't as secure as the one in the video (so it bent in delivery - managed to bend it back mostly) and the "AIRBAG" writing on it has disappeared. And if it were possible, I would have gotten the bronze one for my LHD, but there isn't the option!

Another neat upgradeSimon. I was collecting new wiper blades at my LR dealer today and see that their Defender is clearly channeling your car...it has grown the A pillar air intake, the lunch box, mud flaps and now the full roof rack! Now it needs your infill stickers, extra LED reversing lights and towing eye kit! You should charge royalties for design ideas! I have taken brave pills and bought some gloss black vinyl wrap to cover the D/Sport bonnet airbag panel which never looks good in that strange soft grey finish. If it works, I will let you know...the vinyl is the dry application stuff which I’m not sure about..it might be a sticky mess. We shall see! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻😳😳😀😀😀😀

The cover is not metal or have any metal part to it ... you sir have been fooled by the metallic appearance. The part is not anywhere near the airbag deployment path - the airbag come out the top of the dash. Would you like to reconsider your harsh assessment of me being stupid ?
