Having a reoccurring code of P0069-85 after a new map sensor fitted. Any ideas? No lights on dash or any performance issues.

In case anyone is having a hard time paying for something that has LR on the box, the code for the MAP sensor, LR077148; cross references to the actual Hitachi PN of PRS0019. The FoMoCo PN stamped on the actual part I removed from my '16 TD6, is BC3Q-9F479-AD ( I have two 16' RR w/ TD6 and both have the same exact part installed). Ridiculous that LR wants $300, online LR dealers are $175-$200 plus shipping, when you can get the Hitachi PN for as low as $38. I pulled my whole intake manifold to clean up the ridiculous amount of carbon/oil buildup from the EGR valve. This is why our diesel engines get torn up and don't last, emissions crap!!! Hope this helps! Cleaned up both of my vehicles and now they drive like a champ.

Thanks a million for this, I have an overboost issue and fixed the sticking throttle body so now thinking it’s the sensor as still getting the error. I just ordered the Hitachi part now so fingers crossed. Thanks again this is a big saving.

@@SuperMike67890 Glad to help! I ordered mine from RockAuto, was here in 5 days and error code went away on first start up. Just did the brakes, rotors too, and LR has to be the easiest on any vehicle I’ve worked on! Ordered the rotors, Brembos, from Amazon for $60 each, online from other vendors are $150 and up for non OEM.
