The stock Glock barrels are great, but they rifling is different from others and a little leading can create exponential amounts of pressure, as I understand it. That's why there are aftermarket barrels easily obtained if you want to shoot lead bullets.

My friend's dad said just about the same thing one morning on the way to the woods. We had stopped at a burger king, and we got a cup with a pokemon on it. He looked at it with an indescribable look and said, "a whole generation of men raised by women" as he drove off. Then he taught us how to snap shoot pistols at that cup. I think we were 12 at the time, so it may have been the day I shot my first 1911, which is a memory I will always have.

Specially nowadays, and what is up with the ammo shortage I have to fight tooth and nail with other shooters on ammo day in my local sports store just to get a mere box of 9mm ammo. I just got myself a px4 Beretta waited an eternity for the background check and other crap just to find that I can't shoot it because there is no ammo anywhere, and I live in CA near San Francisco only place to shoot are shooting ranges, you called it 3 years ago now its a reality. Sad day for America.

@fornello123 yup for restricted class firearms, so all handguns, any semi auto center fire rifle with a barrel under 18.5" and all ar-15s they can only be shot at ranges that are certified for restricted use by your provincial CFO (chief firearms officer)

If your ever in the mood for a new gong you should look into buying an old Oxygen tank or accetalyn tank (screwed that spelling up). Check with you local RedBall , or whoever sells welding supplies, and purchase one of the tanks that can no longer be used, Cut the bottom off, with a saw just to be safe, and hang it by a chain. Talk about a loud gong! It is loud and rings for a whule like a bell. I have two on my little range and they're my favorite target to shoot at.

Your first large gong is 80 yrds. I have watched you shoot many pistols at that gong. Is there any more advice you could give or techniques for long range shooting like that with a pistol?

+Stacy Watford Breathe easy, get a good sight picture, and then slowly squeeze the trigger. It should be a surprise when the gun goes off. Other than that, just get a bigger target.
