With the MW pistol, you can Ult and then take out 2-3 enemies by lining them up to pierce. From the flank this is devastating in terms of chipping away at rough swarms. I really do NOT like hitting my team mates - in quickplay people say "idc bruh" which is very cool, but I still don't like doing it. :P Started with RV, levelled all careers, and I'm back to RV. He's my favorite after all XD

problem of special sniping & positioning in general is that it differs too much on how you take your build and how you use it, and specials are basically hide and seek rather than sniper duel- and dodge mastery with the two grab specials. i use ranger bardin as a frontliner class, cause his temp health generation is nuts with coghammer & stagger for temp hp. and he's tanky really, since cog hammer will hit at least 1 head and you can get the damage resistance. specials are supposed to be on places where you dont expect, and ratling is bad against any gun in general since the hitstun is ridiculus- i think long range sniping is only useful on blightstormer, otherwise you can shoot them out well and more easily on mid range which master pistol can provide. just do what you can and snipe specials when in need, you defnintely dont need that knowledge on legend where specials dont spawn crazy on waves unlike cata.
