As a former soldier (Royal Engineers) I love to see this kind of vlog. This does more for recruitment than any of the promotions the MOD puts out.

Telling the story from the ranks being completely transparent. Speaking to the next generation there will be tough times but very achievable with the right mindset.

Great to see such genuine encouragement, half the phys i did on courses or in battalion was just beasting, zero warm ups no cool downs, and they wondered way everyone was carrying injuries. but that was the way it was, glad science and common sense have driven change.

👀😂 being keen = a positive mindset mate. The job has its not so fun moments (currently going through these moments at the minute) but staying positive/keen in these moments is what leads to growth. I’m a big believer in that skill, although not being on paper to show someone (qual) carriers for more weight when seen to be used in life.
