I’m an ex Royal from the 70s-80s. Booty officers train at CTC they do the same commando week tests but their times have to be a bit faster. Their non commando training is longer than the ranks and covers things like leadership, officer etiquette. Because they train at the same place and do the same commando course they general have a good rapport with the men under their command.

If you already have your HGV before you join the core you get drafted straight to your unit. I never went to Leconfield good video Harry.

Weird question but how do Marines get about the country? Do guys have cars, do they ride share, do they take public transportation, is the cost covered by the MoD?

Last two? Well the one that just happened was because America wanted to pull out. The ones prior? Afghanistan was under indirect rule from Britain lol. Afghanistans foreign affairs and economy was administered by the British. Even their current border with Pakistan was drawn by us, much to the shame of those smelly, low iq, pashtun-apes. Also, Iraq was knocked out in like a month. What are you talking about?
