Man, I love my quick jack. I had a constant leak from one of the fittings at the threads, and it seems like no matter what I do, that leak is never going away. But after replacing the fitting, all was well. I have to say I use my lift every other weekend, and I wouldn't know what I would do without it, especially in the UK, where the space is so tight in a standard UK garage. BP did a great job with this product, really knocked it out of the park.

I fit in with those complaint letters only using the QJ on a seldom occasion. So why buy the fittings from QJ when they are twice as much as the ones you can get from Amazon. QJ could reduce the prices of those fittings to accommodate the fittings vulnerabilities. Otherwise, the QJ is great to have.

My Quickjack manual has torque specs for all the quick connect fittings. When did you start using NPT fittings?

Mine were leaking from the start, but I didn't know the sealant had to cure 24h. So I'll give that a try.

It’s because it says nowhere in the actual directions there is a cure time. Have a car stuck in the full up position

Are they less likely to dry if they are not hanging on the wall vesus laying flat on the ground? Have you tested this?

I've only ever had a little bit of leakage from the o-ring, because for whatever reason it would get pinched. So I'll typically replace the o-ring. Great video

I bought a 7000TL last year, 13 months ago. I've used it several times and most recently, the fitting was difficult to connect to the pump. It leaked while I was using the jack and when I disconnected it, there was a ripped o-ring with half in the male and half in the female coupling. I opened a ticket and I was told that I have to purchase a replacement coupling set at my expense. I was blamed for the failure for connecting the coupling dry, which is not the case. I'm FCUKING disgusted about this. Is there a way to replace the o-ring(s) without having to order a new coupling set?

Was and always leaking from day one! Seems like your pushing this on to your customer. Are you going to send new connectors out to those effected.

Great question. If you have leaks from day one, this absolutely does not apply to you. Your QuickJack would be under warranty at that point and you should definitely be reaching out to our support team for further assistance! help.quickjack.com/support/tickets/new

Love my QuickJack but to suggest utilizing them at least every three months is not very practical for those of us who live in cold weather climates.

The original fitting suck right outa the box. Should send them out to owners

Thanks for the comment. If you had an issue right out of the box, this video absolutely does not apply to you! Your QuickJack comes with a 1 year standard warranty and we would recommend reaching out to our support team for further assistance! help.quickjack.com/support/tickets/new

It's nonsense that the entire connector needs to be replaced when it leaks. Most likely, only the o-rings need to be replaced. QuickJack offers an o-ring replacement kit, which costs a fraction of the cost for a replacement connector. QuickJack charges a ridulous price for the connectors. The only reason they should have to be replaced is if they are phyically damaged, which is very unlikely. It is much more likely that the o-rings can be damaged and require replacement.

Load of crap these connectors should not be used on this type of equipment that requires safety these are cheap China made connectors. I will be installing Parker or aeroquip screw on style qc for safety.
