I tried to convince myself that in the first half Man Utd had 4 players who cost at least 10 times the amount of any of our players. Fair enough but 2nd half it was a team of kids and they ran rings around us as well. Lack of energy and pace throughout. Jefte got rinsed all day, Cortes was gassed after 20 minutes. Just crap all round.

I’m not a Rangers fan, but when I think of some of the great players, you’ve had in the past, it is a struggle to believe the current lack of quality. Even as an opposition fan, I used to enjoy seeing players like Laudrup, Gascoigne, McCoist and numerous others but now I struggle to name two players.

The Diomande/Barron combo was good. If we take this one step at a time… defensively, our first priority is, we need a strong left centre back (accelerate Nsiala’s development?). We all know Souttar is weak going to his left (otherwise he’s decent and ticks the Scottish box for Europe) Next, if there are players who are refusing to move… find a way to get them out! Pay the transfer fee and put performance clauses in. If the player still refuses (and won’t perform to the best of their limited ability), make an example of them (start with the shortest remaining contracts)…set up a “kiddies area” (complete with colouring books)… well away from the real “team reserves” and make it perfectly clear they’re no longer wanted. And publicly name their agents. See how that affects their future wage demands (once their current contract expires). Dessers… that rant is essentially targeted at you first! You are over paid… take the money you got and P-off… if you think you’re worth more…prove us wrong!

Sterling and Yilmaz will be the full backs but God knows who will be the centre backs, Barron looks good but Diamande and Lawrence were bang average, don't get me started on Dessers and Wright.

Dio actually shows huge promise… he was up to the task, and showed flashes of brilliance (especially in tight quarters)… he and Barron were the high points.

We are in for a really terrible season. Things are going to get a lot worse before they get any better. Our club is in big big trouble. Us as fans better start to accept where we are. Clement will be away by Christmas. He's looking for the fire exit.

Something is very off at our club right now. I don't have any faith in the board at all. King is still the biggest shareholder and I hope he comes back and clears out the wronguns from the board. Doing stadium work when our squad is awful, where are the priorities FFS. We are finished this season and ball ain't even been kicked. The manager is so commited he fucked off right on full time to go to a wedding. That's very worrying.

PC is obviously trying to bring in younger players with potential. So it is out with the old .But i am not confident with younger players like Matondo. But in reality PC has surveyed the squad and knows what he has to do. Bring the wage bill down and try to put out a successful team on the park. We cannot go on as before paying big wages for little success.
