Just be happy Ovi made that mistake and that hit on oshi should have been a call. They are trying to get rid of hits to the head yet do nothing about it when a player gets hit in the head.

Not every game is going to go by script....... They showed they can win a chippy game. The Caps were desperate to slow down the Rangers; hooking, slashing, high sticking. I was afraid the refs were going to allow the caps to goon their way to a win......

@@Awardshq TJ Oshie is a very smart player. If he wasn’t a capital he would be a favorite for me across the league. When Panarin laid a hit on him he acted like he got hit in the head. I watched it very up close and replays many times. Oshie was doing exactly what he was supposed too. He played the part of acting like he was severely injured and made it look really convincing actually. He almost hit them a 5 min major. He knew exactly what he was doing. Unfortunately his antics didn’t work. Although Oscar worthy. To me it was the right call. The only call. He was fine. He was back on the bench after 30 mins in the locker room because of protocol that he got himself into. Also, not to be crude but the entire time I was rewatching that play all I’m thinking to myself is this is professional NHL player…. Keep your head up maybe? Panarin is so short that if Oshie didn’t have his head completely down looking directly at his feet he wouldn’t have even come close to his “head” clean shoulder check.
