Thank you, your video is perfect. Sometimes one may just want to see if a game is fun to play. Not go through the tediousness of learning how to set up the game and create a character... I just wanted to watch someone playing the game and see if they were having fun. You did both very well!

Excellent fun! I played this through with a group a few years ago and had a real laugh - it really is a great blend of tabletop skirmish and role play. I hope you decide to bring in a reserve ranger rather than sitting it out - it doesn't matter what the rules say, it's all about having having (more) fun!

Very entertaining. I think it’s great what your party is doing for the youth of Shadowdeep with your internship program. All a body has to do is avoid being mauled by rats, devoured by zombies, catching some wasting disease or in-combat treachery from his own supervisors and in no time he will have learned a useful trade. As for your discussion at the end, I think it’s a bit much for you to have to sit out the rest of the campaign. If you want to do that and focus on running the monsters that’s fine, but IMO the game system handles the baddies pretty well, and any new character you would bring in would be suffering the penalty of having no experience or new gear. The combat in this game seems pretty bloody so without someone in the party with the ability to heal, I think the rest of the group will get whittled away pretty quickly. Now if that’s the way the game is supposed to go then it’s cool, but I don’t see a problem with bringing in Berwin’s twin brother, Steve, to get some payback.

Haha absolutely,😅 feel like we're the awkward squad. All good points. It's just the rest of the mission I miss, (so in this case that's just one scenario) then I'll definitely be back with a new ranger who will be here to avenge Berwin the brave 😅

Per the convo at the end: You don't need to be permenantly out at all! Just make a new character and get stuck in for the next mission. There's much better chemistry with the four of you working together than just the three. The game handles automation of the monsters really well, so a GM isn't needed.

I think its a mixture of Victrix, Northstar, Reconquer Designs and lotr 😅👍

Percy should have lived in the 2nd round. The first round you forgot his Fight +2 and he would have killed the rat. If the same rolls happened the zombie wouldn't have gotten a +2 to its fight and Percy would have lived with 1 health.

When the Rat attacked it got a total of 19 and Percy 13 and Percy took damage. When Percy attacked we both got a 6 but neither result was enough to do damage 🤔 still getting our heads around it all 😅 though if I'm wrong just say, I may be looking at something totally different 👍

@@7thson726 Sorry, I meant when Percy attacked, but looking at it again you rolled a 4. I thought it was a 6 before the dice got knocked over. You're right. The rat's armor was 6 so it would have lived. In that case I blame the cowardly tavern boy for leaving him alone.

Nice report. Have you played / considered GWs Middle Earth Strategy Battle Game? I was really reluctant at first but now have 3 full armies with pretty much all of the hero options (inc Forgeworld). Great game IMO, the setting, the figures (mostly) and, for once with GW, good rules.
