The way you set out your thoughts on Rangers responsibility for long serving players and testimonials was outstanding and 100% spot on 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💪
@FatEck1999Ай бұрын
Thanks, Charlie - appreciate that, mate. Aye, we all know Rangers should be winning more trophies but a lot of the hysterical stuff you hear from a small number of our fans these days basically sounds exactly like the slaggings we take from Celtic fans.

just listening to another top pod as I am passing the time before I get supporters bus to Ibrox at 5.30, all the best Eck hope you don't get to cold making the pod outside Ibrox tonight, mon the Gers

@FatEck1999Ай бұрын
And I'm grateful to you again for watching it, Nick. If we batter in the goals and turn on the style tonight you're obviously the difference-maker, and the club must pay for your travel, match ticket and luxury overnight accomodation for every match the rest of this season.
Cheers, Sammy. Thanks as always for watching, mate👍

Took me by surprise being too sensible in the first half of your pod. The thing about Tav is he was with us in the Championship and was a big part in our reputation being re-established. He actually played well v St. Johnstone. I've seen us struggle in the Rangers v Kilmarnock fixture several times but we have 3 centre forward options tonight and I go for a 3-1 win. I'll also be supporting the Dandy Dons tonight as our title flame is not quite extinguished. Enjoyed your show.
@FatEck1999Ай бұрын
Thanks for watching it, BigPhil - and I again enjoyed your post. Very well said re Tav. I have the feeling he'll be widely regarded as an absolute legend in a decade's time and, looking back from the 2030s, it would be humiliating for us, as a club, if we hadn't given him the send off he deserved. Yeah, love that we have real striking options now and like your 'tude re the tic.

Always great to start the day with a smile on your face and that's what another brilliant pod has done. Couldn't agree more about the Hagi interview and great to see him back. I've always had a soft spot for Killie due to some family ties in Kilmaurs but 3 points for us tonight 😊.
@FatEck1999Ай бұрын
@@Albertlindie Thanks very much for giving it your time again, Albert. Appreciated. Aye, Ianis was inspirational yesterday and I was firmly put back in my place about him. Kilmaurs was always "we're nearly there" when heading to Kilmarnock from Ardrossan on the A1 bus with my mum or dad as a kid. It was the nearest big smoke in the 70s - even Irvine seemed relatively exciting back then - while Glasgow was like New York. But my dad wasn't interested in putting me through everything he'd endured and he preferred the guaranteed result of the pub on a Saturday to Rugby Park by the time I was of age to love football, so he let his wee sister take over my football upbringing. My Aunt Louise was Rangers daft. Been to Wembley with my dad more times than Rugby Park but often wonder what would have been if my paternal grandpa - a bit more Killie staunch - hadn't died before I was born.

Superb Sir! You had me shouting at the screen after 20 mins ‘I don’t want to listen to the boring normal football content’ 🤣🤣🤣 just a word of warning however - as an acclaimed novelist yourself I hope your nurse’s name isn’t Annie Wilkes or I fear your biggest fan won’t let you out the house anytime soon! 🤣🤣 Fingers crossed there will be no Misery tonight as we cheer our team onto victory! 🇬🇧💙 P.S. the Celtic player being referred to by big Phil was Khun! 🤬🤬🤣

😄😄👏👏 DON'T TOUCH THAT CERAMIC PENGUIN!! Or else - oomph - it's hammer time!😵💫 Was about to say I love Misery but that might seem like a comment on supporting Rangers right now😂 Brilliant, Andy - many thanks, sir. Kuhn, was it? Cheers, sir I'm sure that's what I called Idah at Hampden in May anyway 😬 Here's to a total lack of boring normal football content from the Teds tonight.💪💙🫡

This is getting scary again, mate. I have a harmonica in that room - sat right next to me as I do these pods - so that made your last post quite coincidental. But I also have a baseball in there. No mitt but a Boston Red Sox baseball which has got me through many a time in that cooler. So I don't think it's just the doctors and nurses watching me through that screen....😵💫😵💫😃😉🫡🍻

the problem eck is that in europe teams are more open, and at home teams play a low block that the team seem unable to overcome easily
@FatEck1999Ай бұрын
@@JohnAnderson-ss9vn Aye that's the Eternal Riddle for us, John though, to be honest, when I see some of our combinations against Nice - some of our brilliantly intricate-at-speed build up play in that game - it makes me wonder why we don't do the same stuff in domestic games but just move the whole operation 20 yards further up the park. As the manager said after the United draw, I think a lot of it this season is starting with a lack of intensity in games we're expected to win, while in Europe we feel we have to sink or swim from KO.

I want to apologise for calling you a novelist. I meant performance artist. Congratulations on your forthcoming turner prize. Weird funny man. Like a better version of Limmy if he wasnae a self loathing blue nose. If he leaned into it in a nice way.
@FatEck1999Ай бұрын
Limmy's a self-loathing bluenose? Are you not confusing him with Graeme Speirs, Kian? Me though? Oh aye, Rachel Whitehead watch out. Another of the Scotia Nostra is coming to steal your legacy. House? How about The Big House Stayed Open!

Winning, impressive performances??? 6 goals enough for you? Or raging at Jack Butland cause he offered very little threat at the business end? Fair enough. His XG was shocking. I was watching the celts in Aberdeen so I missed Derek McInnes’ attempt to ingratiate himself to the bears but I presume youse did well and there is a smile on your coupon so I’m looking forward to the post match analysis.
