In all my years watching Rangers this era was peak, ahead of even the Laudrup/Gascoigne days. Mols was absolutely unplayable and the midfield played really entertaining football. They're heading back there now, only difference is they're doing it hopefully sustainably/profitably and with more focus on bringing through academy players.

Used to Worked for a charity in Glasgow, one of my colleagues was over from Italy for a year, Juventus fan, took him to the game, we were in the main stand, just before kick off, he phoned one of his mates back home, couldn’t believe the noise. Great night/performance.

This game sticks out in my mind. I had the game on VHS and would watch it back. I didn't realise how many chances we wasted. It was like that against some of the big sides. Like Bayern would get a goal easily and rangers could pepper them with 50 shots but struggle to score. Decent side. Good times are back.

Advocatt didn’t even celebrate when Albertz scored the winning volley against PSV in the away leg . Whatever it was , it was a great shame as Albertz scored so many amazing and important goals for us in what game time he got . Imagine he’d been first name on the team sheet every match ? . I’ve heard that it was to do with Him being a chain smoker and I’ve also heard they just didn’t get on . Whatever it was I think Dick may have cut his nose off to spite his face 🇬🇧
