Remember standing in the corner shop on way home.from the game with my dad....everyone in shop just standing silently watching the Hillsborough news....can't belive that was more then 30 years ago

I weas at that game, wasnt until i got home later that night i heard about hilsborough

And the same thing nearly happened there that day too . I was 13 and in the old Celtic end .. too many fans and a crush started . The stadium was a death trap and apparently nothing has changed

I remember coming out of there really disappointed after a poor performance. When we got back to the supporters bus news was coming through of the disaster unfolding at Hillsborough all of a sudden our result didn't matter.
