@@donaldo5879 yes, I am happy Labour is in as well. I FN hated the Tories under Thatcher in the 80s and I never thought they could be worse. I was wrong, Bojo and his jibby jab and contracts for pals mob came in, they wrecked the country and pushed up the cost of living to ridiculous levels. Neither me nor a member of my family had those jibby jabs, I wouldn't let them touch my kids with that experimental muck. So good FN riddance. Life wasn't perfect when Labour was in before, but at least the cost of living was fairer and getting an appointment with the NHS wasn't too bad. Also energy prices were better as well. It will take time. It won't be perfect. Both Labour and Conservative are like a 💩 covered stick. I will take the slightly less excrement covered end, which is Labour, over that Tories end anyway. I have every faith Danilo will be brilliant for us this new season, providing he either plays as striker or as deep lying CAM, which are his two best positions.

A deep lying CAM is called a CM mate haha Danilo is not a CM. CF or LW are his positions. I do agree with you though he will be class for us next season as long as the injury hasnt had a long lasting effect.

@@BryanB2o11 actually you are wrong mate. He was first a Central attacking midfielder for Feyenoord. A centre mid is box to box. He was more a 10 that Sat a little deeper but linked the play with the main striker. Then he became a striker. He was never a LW before Beale put him there at any time ever. He is not good on the left wing. If he gets played in his proper positions as striker or CAM he will do very well for us. Beale was a tube. Haha you don't know what you're talking about mate with regards positions.

@@rangersnut With all due respect the fact youve just said “A centre mid is box to box” proves its you that doesnt know what youre talking about with regards to positions/roles. There is a variety of roles a CM can perform and box to box midfielder is but one of them. When it comes to a CAM a deep lying CAM is not a role, the letters stand for Centre Attacking Mid and if you were to be deeper lying you would simply become a more attack minding CM. What you are actually referring to is a second striker which Danilo played as at Feyenoord. He played as a slightly deeper lying forward just off of the main focal point, linking play but also getting into the box to score goals himself. Can/has Danilo played in the CAM position? Yes but its certainly not a natural position for him, a natural CAM is a Todd Cantwell or Hagi for example. Danilo is 100% a forward thats most natural through the centre but could be used from the left flank.

You are talking rubbish. Here is his positions copy and pasted from a site beginning with T ends arkt. Main position: Centre-Forward Other position: Attacking Midfield Note: not second striker or LW. Which is why Beale was a trumpet playing guys out of position. So you are wrong and BTW I told you what a CAM was and I was right, a CAM sometimes gets shortened to centre attacking mid. Sometimes attacking midfielder and central means the same as centre. That's just semantics. And BTW here is an explanation from a neutral source of the deep lying CAM or playmaker. A deep-lying playmaker (Strolling 10) is a holding midfielder who specializes in ball skills such as passing, rather than defensive skills like tackling. When this player has the ball, they may attempt longer or more complex passes than other holding players. So you are wrong again.

@@rangersnut I love how you apparently will agree to disagree then go on to post a full scale reply making several points 😂 Its funny how adamant you are about being correct about everything when your source is transfermarkt… its a basic stats site nothing more. Ive been an avid football manager player for 15 years (which is well renowned the world over for being extremely indepth and realistic about the game) and Danilo is listed as a natural striker but accomplished at LW whilst being able to play CAM and RW competently. Also its clear you dont seem to understand the difference between positions and roles much less what those actually entail. CAM or Central Attacking Midfielder is a position not a role which is the space between the centre mids and the strikers. Danilo, like I said before, may have played in the CAM position before but his role was a SS - Second Striker which is much more attacking and further up the pitch than a midfield role. Again, he can obviously fill that role but its not his natural position which is why its listed as “other position” on your source. Beale was indeed tragic making many mistakes but you do not understand the game better than he does, hes a professional coach/manager at a high level ffs. Also this “deep lying midfielder or strolling 10” is pure nonsense 😂 A deep lying playmaker has never been referred to as a “strolling 10”. A “10” is someone who plays in the CAM position which is too far up the field to play a deep lying midfield role, basically they are completely different. I think you should do a bit more research than a stat website if you want to debate about football mate 👍 Like I said at the start though we can agree on Danilo being important for us next season and thats where ill leave this, take care buddy

​@neilmckechnie6638 the problem with him wasn't ability. Apparently his Mrs didn't settle here or like the weather etc, which made him unhappy. That said I think as excuses go it is quite weak. He had the chance to research what he was involved with and should have been honoured to play for us. As well if that was my wife and making my professional life hard. I would put my foot down and tell her to sack up and be more supportive or leave. He obviously just wasn't committed or a man of his word when living up to the contract he signed. I would sell him any way we can, and make him pay whatever difference there is so that we break even on him at least.
