While this is true, what it misses may not be obvious. How the story ends depends on what is in the chapters that you must write. What is the difference between how many of the older versions of these things the person has experienced and how many of the newer versions of the things the person has experienced? @@jeromevaleska2014 it doesn't need to rhyme for it to flow well. it's all in how you say the line the makes it work

@@lafingscarecrow I never said it needs to rhyme, though that can enhance it. I said they sound similar and in this case it gives it that better flow. Here you start with a short, succinct phrase “Look into my eyes,” and then queue into a long winded mouthful by comparison “I wanna see the life leave yours.” It doesn’t sound right, it breaks the flow of the sentence. The original line is already perfect. It communicates the exact same message, it does it in a manner far more quicker and succinct. It’s catchy, it flows well, everything about it works. With yours, it loses that quick, succinct, catchy nature of the original, it tries to hard to overcomplicate things. We don’t always need to find some clever replacement for the word die. Sometimes a simple die is the most effective choice. As a result of this, it breaks immersion and it loses the intimidation factor. If that was what Jake had said, it would have pulled me out of the scene instantly. Any way you say that line, it just doesn’t work here. I mean no disrespect, only to criticise. Criticism is important, it is one of the many ways we improve.

@@jeromevaleska2014 my god dude, this isn't english class. you didn't need to have an entire essay prepared. i was just saying i think my line would sound cooler and make jake sound more badass. if you don't agree then that's fine, but you don't need to explain in detail why the way he says it is now is better. it's simply a matter of opinion. i respect your opinion, and i hope you respect mine as well. and no disrespect to you as well

@@raycutler2524 I don't know Rango clips rarely get hit with restrictions. Mainly because this movie is bordering on a full on adult animated, just without swearing.
