In this beautiful discussion on stories of healing from the Qur'an, Dr Rania Awaad explores the trials and tribulations faced by Prophet Yusuf (Joseph) and his father Prophet Yaqub (Jacob) within Surah Yusuf.
This Surah emphasises the importance of understanding and accepting human emotions such as sadness and grief and how these emotions are not signs of weakness but rather a mercy from Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala. Additionally it teaches us the significance of forgiveness and how it can lead to healing, both for the one who forgives and the one who seeks forgiveness.

It is important to understand sacred scriptures in terms of dialectics Some meaning and experience is inherent and others are implied in the working of it. Suwrah Yuwsuf has more mirror aspects than are will be initially noticed. There is always something in life or the ways of society to form a resistance to.
