Not even a comment in Spanish, I will comment in English too. This master piece talks about our culture, Concierto de Aranjuez is poetry about a beautiful city in Spain, my heart beats so hard right now, and I'm sad, because I think (maybe I'm wrong) no one here can perceive the feeling of our ancestors throbbing in each note, because it speaks of history, traditions and the life of millions through the centuries, I can feel it running through my vains

The composer's situation when he wrote this masterpiece makes the meaning behind each note all the more impactful: He and his wife spent their honeymoon at Aranjuez (a beautiful small city in Spain), Maestro Rodrigo (the composer, who was blind) was cautivated by the beautiful sounds of the fountains and birds and the smell of fresh flowers at Aranjuez that he decided to start writing a piece of music. It was during his composition, that he and his wife then travelled to Germany... Where his wife was expected to give birth. All of a sudden, his wife fell ill. The doctors told Rodrigo that his wife and his baby (who hadn't been born yet) would most likely die. It is with this situation that Rodrigo went home and wrote all of his feelings into the 2nd part of the Concierto de Aranjuez, the Adagio. The Adagio is probably so impactful because it is Rodrigo's own thoughts and feelings on his way home, and once there, his prayers to God so his wife would at least survive miraculously. That's why the guitar is alone, a little bit feeble but trying its best to fight and argue with the orquesta - - - The guitar was Rodrigo, praying, asking for help to God. The orquesta was God, answering with patience at first, but as Rodrigo (the Guitar) starts to get more and more anxious and shout, God (the orquesta) switches his tone to a more decisive one, and tells Rodrigo that his son will die and there's nothing to do about it. His wife survived from the illness miraculous, but his son died. It is in this instance when the ending to Adagio happens... Rodrigo griefs the loss of his son, but ultimately accepts it and finally makes peace with God and himself. (That's when the orquesta enters with full power at the end, ending with that small flute at the end, representing his peace at last).

Paco is a flamenco guitar legend. He wanted to play this classic work but with its flamenco touch. He still studied this piece with a master of the classical guitar to be the most technically precise because the classical is above all the precision of the notes... This classical master had said that he had learned a lot from the how Paco played with his soul and his guts to convey emotions in his game

Im a Punk Metal guy who plays in a Grindcore band a was born just a 2 km away from where Paco was born . He is Algecireño like me. Grindcore and Flamenco have nothing to do with each other but still music, noise, and feelings that is what matters. Im not a patriotic or localist guy but Paco is the only thing from my home town that really makes me feel proud of . Greatest guitarrist ever. Guitar was invented for Paco to play it.

sure, but this channel only cares about Patriotic or localist individuals that have love and care about where they come from and everyone around them. This seems like only the Paco has value and that's just not true - good music, but just another human no different from the rest.

In the second movement, Joaquín questions God about the spontaneous abortion his wife had, losing his son and asking that his wife stay alive. This is expressed by the pulse of the guitar (at the beginning of the second movement), which represents a beating heart. The movement has sadness, anger and hopelessness. At the end in the climax of the guitar and orchestra the author "hears God" and finally the author's acceptance of the fact and peace occurs.

My favorite song by maestro Paco is reflejo de luna: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mJWupXR5eJl4rLc In the stanza at minute 2'10'' I think he does something extremely difficult for guitarists, with his index, middle and ring fingers he plays the treble but at the same time with his thumb he plays the graves, it's as if 2 guitarists were playing. From another planet.
