I started doing it myself as falcon just because of how annoying it is edge guarding players with perfect DI, especially if they are on keyboard or a box. it's very safe since you can trade so often.

Yesn‘t. You can do it if you are close enough to the ledge, but the range is a bit small. Go straight up and instantly hold back into the ledge. Experiment with it in UnclePunch.
