Fun Fact: the summoned version of Florrisax uses a special version of Dragon Claw that does lightning damage. It is an incantation that the player cannot access at all, ever. So that's fun 🙂

tholliers needle's skill also has boosted damage on sleeping enemies, making it able to function like poison moth / poison flower, albeit with a shorter window to use it. Ledas armor boosts a ton of attack tykes by 10%, which helps her build as well.

really fun video, only two things to say hornsent also uses the horn bairne reusable item a lot, only it deals negligible damage when the player uses it and Moore's shield can actually deal a decent amout of damage if you 2 hand it, I'm pretty sure Moore doesn't use it himself but it's still possible

Thiollier’s build is lowkey a sleeper(no pun intended). If you put on the exultation talisman that boosts damage when poison is in vicinity. After inflicting sleep and then using the aow on his perfume weapon. You can get the buff while the enemy is sleep and then change back to the fist weapon. And you could probably use st trina smile too.

Love how Dane's build turns you into a human blender, but when he uses it when "assisting" you in Romina's fight, he makes it look weak as hell. Romina is already easy enough, and all Dane does for the fight is increase her hp when summoned, meaning the person who's supposed to help you in that fight ultimately just turns it into the challenge run version of the fight.

I use pretty much exactly Ansbach's build. Whenever I fight my friend with it, he rants to me about how op it is. I think how good a build is depends entirely on how well you mesh with it. I can never make magic builds work because I just don't feel comfortable staying back and slinging spells, they just take too long.

a good way to make spell casting builds work with your playstyle is to include melee spells into your kit like Carian slicer/piercer and Gavel of Haima. for incantations, you can include catch flame and o flame

The dragon priestess actually has a spell that you cannot use. A version of the dragon claw does lightning damage to take advantage of her debuff

ansbach’s incantation didn’t have any bleed. The bug is fixed and the incantation is kinda good now, though I’m not sure why you’d use a bleed incantation while already having a bleed weapon. I’m guessing this incantation works better on poison builds. (edit) It’s getting annoying but you can stop telling me about lore, I know that Ansbach is Mohg’s blood knight, he says it in the first goddamn seconds, it’s not a revelation. I’m saying it doesn’t make any gameplay sense, you already have a bleed melee weapon with good damage, why’d you want to use a spell that is melee bleed but less damage and costs fp? It’s cool, yeah but it’s like trying to ride a bike and a car at the same time, it’s not much better than riding a car also am I the only one weirded out by Dane using golden vow? I thought Miquella’s people oppose the golden order. Now here I need lore explanation, I am really confused and can’t find any answers to this

The incantation is there for lore reasons, not for build purposes, it serves a narrative, just like the everything else. It says in a description that Ansbach only uses it when he's ambushed/caught off guard by the enemy, and doesn't have the time to draw his long scythe, or when someone knocks the scythe out of his hands during battle, and he's disarmed, he instead strikes them with his hand as a last ditch effort, turning his arm into a blood flame blade.

tholliers build is actually not bad, it can be pretty optimised if you just add to it lol like kindred of rot pairs excellently with the deadly poison perfume, plus, if youre not being 100% thiollier, which an average person might not, it can be paired with the poison flower ash of war on something like the venomous fang, to constantly be proccing and refreshing The kindred of rot exultation, as well, if you want to lean into the sleep aspect of it, well, its just as easy lol, im definitely adding his perfume bottle to my deadly poison detonation build lol, ill finally be able to get rid of the dang katana thats had to stay on my hip to carry poison moth flight cause the poison flower blooms twice can go on the venomous fang :D i will lose quickstep tho, so oof

hornsent uses some godflame incantation, not sure if it's available to the player, he charges the skill for about 2 secs then 5 orbs seek the player, he kept one shotting me with it in the final npc battle royale

Tf? Moore can also just hit with his shield, the weapon art is not the only thing it can do, are you aware of that? Yes the damage is not outstanding, but you're acting like his only damage option are rot pots, which is simply not true. That build is more than capable of killing bosses cause you're just invincible.
