Most disappointing thing with Lansseax is how she has great lore, but none of it is taken advantage of. An ancient dragon that seemingly fell in love with one of the most CHAD Tarnished to have ever existed in Vyke and is capable of taking human form, but we see none of that. Would have had her take human form after being defeated and become an NPC, wanting to aid you cause you remind her of Vyke.

4:20 Fun fact by the way: the Great Club's charged heavies outright have the highest posture damage of any single hit in the game. Pair this with the crystal tear that boosts posture damage, and you are very comfortably able to immediately stance break most things in the game in a single hit. Also it has the unique distinction of being the only weapon that deals holy damage that can be buffed on top of its base elemental damage... so... bonk undead with the holy power of god, why don't ya

The envoys longhorn deals 91 if every bubble connects, which can be boosted to 120+ with the stomebarb tear making most medium- large enemies immediately stance break

I think Elemer is my personal favorite. From stumbling across his castle by following the path to the bright shining castle on a field just to find a blighted rotting castle sinking into a pool of poison, to finding him staring at a portrait of Malenia, his story is bone-chilling and fascinating and his boss fight doesn’t disappoint. The claustrophobic boss arena really makes his flying sword abilities feel more intimidating than they otherwise would, taking away the ability to comfortably regroup and heal while not being so thicc he feels unfair. Excellent boss in the highlight area of the game.

My theory for Godefroy is that he is a projection of Godrick, possibly in order to mask his escape from Leyndell during the Shattering. It would not only help explain the similar appearance but also why he had Godfrey’s icon on him (because he was looting stuff from the capital). Plus considering his uncles both have projections (Margit and Mogh the Omen) it would fit up thematically.

Fun fact: The goant Wormface enemies have a unique kill animation. If they grab you and kill you during the grab, they swallow your character. The animation was bugged for a while, so when they *did* swallow you, you would appear outside of the enemy, and just float down and vanish. They fixed it, thankfully

I've used the Helice in PVE and the second input on its weapon skill is very nice, and heavy thrusting swords are strong.

The duo fights AI was reworked shortly after launch due to some bosses relentless spam giving the player hardly any time to do anything (godskin duo being the biggest offender). In turn this nerfed some bosses that should be more aggressive together to balance the fight, like the crystalian duo

Bell bearing hunters are weak to staying behind their shield hand. Theyll shield slam spam if you stay behind them which is a super easy punish

4:32 i find it so funny how after the complains the community had agains gank bosses they just pushed a ghost update a few months after relase which forces enemies to attack you always 1 by 1, this trivializes all gank bosses but i have never seen a case as severe as this spear guy not even defending himself. I find like cristalians were some of the few fun gank fights that slowly becomes harder 1,2,3,3+rot.... so you have time to learn it, reminds me of super mario bosses gaining more moves after each encounter

It always amazes me how positively people view the Fallingstar Beast bosses. I despise them and find them overly obnoxious and unfun to fight. Elemer should absolutely be number #1 imo. He’s like a lesser version of Slave Knight Gael and I love his smooth and telegraphed moveset.

Elemer is probably like my 5th favorite Elden Ring boss, and Godefroy is my least favorite of all gaol bosses, so seeing 2 bosses that are so opposite to me on the quality spectrum only 4 spots away from each other had me so befuddled :/ Also, quick question, is there gonna be a crumbling farum azula bosses ranking? are you just gonna rank the 3 bosses in farum azula or are you gonna count it as part of like the mountaintops or something?

@@TheRockstarRunkey yeah I realized later that all three of them were considered lyndell capital. There were several bosses that weren’t on the list but they are all within the outer walls so I guess that’s considered lyndell as as well.

All the bosses out here suck imo Even the ‘good’ stuff there’s better versions elsewhere, or they’re just regular enemies in another location. I usually get bored here and start REEEEEALLY wanting to make a new build or play something else. Idk what it is but I’m just really not a fan of this zone.

#7 Black Knife Assassin is actually a good example of Fromsofts cheating to inflate difficulty on noobs. Despite i love the fight & balanced challenge when underleveled gotta call her out on it. So u attack her on foot, she uses her blades of blood Inuyasha attack & its a projectile! U can walk, run, roll, hell jump out of the way of the attack. Fight her on Pestilence of the My little Apocalypse Ponies collection, her blades of blood attack goes from projectile to hitscan! As soon as its fired from her blade it will immediately knock u off while draining your hp & doing damage 🤦🏿‍♂️. If u underleveled iirc its just outright killing u. I believe i used that when testing & recording the bs this game can do to make u feel like u suck when u really dont. Im sure u can still see it just head over there & confirm, they usually dont patch out they "glitches" (haxs) unless it benefits the player or is just very obvious like the 1 shot rot or bleed dog 😒. Oh the Tree Sentinel at game start still can change his shield slam & blash from a 1 hit type attack to a 2 hits in 1 attack meaning even if u guard it it can guard break u but also 1 shot in the same frame 🤷🏿‍♂️ due to counter damage since it guard breaks u. Tho if u fight him u will notice u actually CAN block the attack & it sends u flying back in the cool anime style if he uses the shield slam. Again u should be able to try this & see. Make a new character & go fight him asap & get him to do those 2 attacks without killing him. If u want it to go faster get him low on hp & he just wont stop coming... (pause, no diddy, no kelly) For you. 😂
