I’m super happy you decided to do these lists by region. It’s more manageable and allows you the chance to talk about the bosses in further detail rather than brushing them aside as “just another stupid reskin” like so many other channels do. Keep up the good work man! Also I’m super happy that you watch the game grumps! I audibly screamed at the reference to their Elden ring run

A few comments to add: The Royal Revenant' boss arena is far too small for it. Any arena is too small for it, given how it can practically fling itself halfway across the map. Want to make the Crystallians even more of a pushover? You can backstab them. It's easiest on the Sorcerer variant. Smarag gave me the most trouble thus far in Elden Ring when it comes to the dragons. I can't even explain it. I beat Adula on my second try when Smarag took my overleveled build to take down. I haven't yet beat Borealis, so if they give me more trouble, I'll update. The fact that the Black Knife Assassin is hidden via the guillotine was a great touch. The Omenkiller is a perfected Capra Demon fight. The arena is nice and spacious, the dogs (to my knowledge) don't inflict bleed, and there's the fire attacks that can add he extra level of danger. Adula's Moonblade absolutely annihilated me, ending my first attempt. And yet, I wasn't mad as it was a gorgeous attack, and I'm almost honored to he slain by it. Last one: Rennala was probably one of my favorite bosses in From Soft. It was a wonderful learning curve for me, and the arena is perfection incarnate. Lastly, im actually kinda glad we dont end up killing her, as she truly doesn't deserve that fate.

6:05 The Crystallian's aggression being weird in their various gank fights was a thing that changed in the 1.04 patch for Elden Ring. That patch shadow nerfed the aggression on various minor gank encounters throughout the game, which included stuff like the Crucible Knight duo fight (yes, that used to be harder than it is now), the Mad Pumkin Head duo in Caelid, the Abductor Vergin duo in Mt.Gelmnir, the Erdtree Avatar in the Mountaintops, and most noticably all 3 of the Crystalian gank fights. When the game released, they were significantly more aggressive when in pairs, which made the fights significantly harder than they are now. After the patch tho... yeah, they definitely went overboard on these guys in particular

I'm playing through with another character currently, a strength-based claymore build, as honest as you can get. Adula just straight up died while I was talking to Blythe in Ranni's Rise. I saw her outside as I came down the tower, started talking to Blythe, and got the Great Foe Slain or whatever. Whaaa?

There is actually a Merchant's Note that details the revenant's weakness to healing Incantations. Also, just a tip. I find exploration in ER most rewarding and fun when running a magic build, so would recommend a caster playthrough. The magic in ER is so much fun, my go to are the Dragon Incants, paired with an Occult Scavenger's Sword. I genuinely love spellsword builds in this game, way more than any other Souls Game. Ggs nice vid!

@@davidchatterley1766 The fuck are these elitist fucking comments. I said Magic builds are best for exploration, and cool factor. I have beaten ER with numerous builds, including at RL1. I am bringing up the point of replayability. Just running from boss to boss in a playthrough can get boring fast. So, change ups. Also, spells require a lot of stat investment to be decent, till they become insane late game. What that means is that u wont have Vigor Early Game, making the Eatly game an actual fucking challenge. It's like y'all don't know any spell casting outside of spamming a single OP spell, and saying spells are OP. Why do u think I like Dragon Incants? Long Cast, but Monster Damage, so u need to find openings, especially for non hyperarmour breath attacks. Atleast bother to engage with a mechanic before shitting on it.

The Revenant terrified me for my initial playthrough but Found them a minimal threat on repeat playthroughs. I think the real world panic they invoke has more to do with their difficulty then their actual move set. Similar opinion about the hands in carian manor.

Sorry for the late comment. Great video my favourite boss has to be Rennala although the first phase is a cake walk once you figure out the gimmick, that second phase omg what an arena and her magic is brutal the first time she summoned a dragon my jaw hit the floor.

Honestly, i dont agree with some of the placements, but i understand your reasoning, for example, i personally like Smarag more than Adula because, idk, i just like him more, or another example the snail fight and Omenkiller being top 10 i just cant agree with considering they have, in my opinion have some of the worst drops in Liurnia and they are easy/infuriating depending on how you go about the fight. But i do enjoy how you explain everything behind your rankings and its nice to see such honest rankings

Magma Wyrm Makar has more similarities to Ludwig from Bloodborne not Gaping Dragon from Dark Souls lol. Unfortunately the bosses in Liurnia are just too forgettable for me and only faced like 50% of the bosses there.

You can buy a note that tells you: "The crawling royal revenants and their followers are all cursed. Healing powers will harm rather than mend." So anybody who buys and reads all of the notes should know this. And if you're going in blind a lot of the notes are very worthwhile. Others of course are a scam.

I know you've already made 2 videos, but if you wanted to separate the underground bosses in one whole video, that's fair, but I'd honestly include Siofra River as part of Limgrave, Nokron as part of Caelid (since you have to beat Radahn to get down there), Ainsel as Liurnia, Deeproot Depths as Altus, and Mohgwyn as Mountaintops. But I guess it doesn't really matter at the end of the day lol. Ah, Liurnia's field/cave bosses are some of the worst in the game. I can hardly remember most of them. This video reminded me why Limgrave and Caelid were both so much more memorable than Liurnia most of the time :( The repeat bosses are mostly the boring ones from Limgrave... and the first-time encounters in Liurnia are typically boring (Crystallians and the Evergaol fights were so sleep-inducing here). Oh well, at least we have early Clean-rot Knight encounters and Rennala + VERY few others. Love the video

I think this list is slightly different than how I would do it. Rather than ranking it by how hard or how much i struggled with it, I would rank uniqueness and repetitiveness. The cemetery shade pops us so few times and has such an interesting design that I would rank it higher despite struggling with its difficulty.
