I think the Allen family in Seattle shoulda been higher, Paul Allen saved the Seahawks who almost relocated to Los Angeles in 1996 under then owner Ken Behring. The Seahawks were a joke before Allen took over and has had them a contender for almost the two decades of owning the team, starting with the hire of Mike Holmgren in 1999.

Jerry Jones is arguably the best owner in terms of economics, he’s helped build and maintain the most valuable sports organization in the world. As far as football goes, he’s damn near 32nd. Our 2019 draft was incredible. One of the reasons used to justify the low ranking, trading Khalil Mack & Amari Cooper, were both HUGE wins for the Raiders, especially since the 1st round pick we get from the Bears again this year could well be a top 10 pick. & oh yeah the new stadium in Las Vegas is a work of art! Get ready because the Raiders are about to be a dynasty once again.

@@justinbachman1772 now look at his carry totals. He very rarely got 15 or more carries throughout the season and last I checked getting 80+ yards is typically pretty good. If a RB averaged 80 yards a game than at the end of the season they would have 1,280 yards which is well above average. The last 3 games of the season is how the titans should have been using Henry all year long. He needs more carries than he gets as he only got 215 carries last year which is just 13.4 carries a game. He averages 4.6 yards per carry for his career, so it's not like he's been bad for the Titans to not give him carries.

Either way, it's telling that all three of Pittsburgh's SB appearances since 2000 have been in years when somebody else eliminated the Patriots: the Broncos in 2005, the Chiefs / Bernard Pollard (and to some extent the Dolphins and Ravens) in 2008, and the Jets in 2010.

As long as our dumb fans keep buying both they will stay bad. Trust me I’ve been a lions fan for 30 years. This team is the worst. They will have another shit season in 2020, blame it on Fatty (Patricia) and dumb fuck (Quinn) and we’ll lose Stafford. Then we are “rebuilding” again.

Double A ... All of that’s true, but still this videos list was for “current” owners. It wasn’t a list rating franchises overall throughout league history. Many teams owners on this list have taken over for dead family members. If the criteria for the list took into account other family members taking over & include past families records then there’d have to be so many changes. Like the Giants have always been owned in 1 way or another by the Mara family, so having them at #12 wouldn’t work. They’d be top 5 for sure (regardless I thought #12 on this list was way too high to begin with). Or The Bears, Virginia McCaskey took over for her dad, the teams original owner George Halas. At #17 they didn’t even get ranked in the top 1/2. I thought #17 was too high for just Virginia McCaskey anyway. I thought she should’ve been around #13-12, but as a Bears fan I have a bias. Unfortunately you’re going to have to live w/ the Ford’s likely always owning the team you root for. Just like Halas/McCaskey will likely always own the Bears, & since her sons basically run it now, anyway, nothing will change when Virginia passes. if you own a NFL team there’s really no reason to sell it (especially nowadays). With revenue sharing a team can be terrible every year & still make a fortune.

Credit where credit due. This might be your most accurate list of rankings to date. Only change I'd make, putting Arthur Blank higher. He's top shelf and deserves a winning franchise. Falcons will get there one of these days. BTW - that was a lame cheap shot on the Hunt family, especially when comparing them to other ownerships. At least you still ranked them in the right place.

Now he hired former Vikings’ offensive coordinator Kevin Stefanski as new head coach and recently a guy named Andrew Berry who is the youngest GM in NFL history is their latest GM. So time will tell in 2020.

blockcl ... highly doubtful. The Owner doesn’t have to run the franchise anyway. They can just hire a president of team operations to do everything & then just sit back & collect the $. You can be an absolutely terrible team every year, but b/c the NFL is so popular & takes in something like $9 billion a year, a team that has no fans in the stands & would be non profitable in a league like the NBA or NHL will still make a fortune every season through the NFL’s revenue sharing. There’s really no incentive whatsoever for an owner to sell a team (unless they just stop caring about making $).

Your right. Patriots only began there tear in the nfl. The steelers have been doing it now for 46 years with just a handful of bad seasons. Once brady leaves we will see were the patriots go from there. No matter who comes and goes with steelers they keep on winning.
