Mage is poopy. I know, I am one. You get stun locked all the time, you have no health, you have to stay still to use any proper abilities, the abilities take forever to cast. You have no way to really get distance, blink barely works and always get caught on environment geometry in the wrong places and even with a full blink, people still tend to catch you regardless, the shields you get to try and give you a bit of HP buffer, garbage. Mage... Is... Poopy... Hahaha

Most races have ok racials that will provide some type of benefit but if you want the best advantages in PvP it tends to be Alli - Human Horde - Orc

What’s the difference between lifesteal and what Discipline Priest does? Dealing damage to heal is what both does? Is the difference that Priest deals way less damage and heals more, because he’s a healer? I’m brand new and trying to learn everything. Played Hearthstone since 2015 though so I know that Priest has a lot of lifesteal there.

I do get your reasoning behind playing priest as a class but what do you think about the holy priest now that it doesn't have greater heal but alot of instant casts , they have options for instant cast, with pvp talents improving them like PoM, shield, all holy words and more, potential for double serenity, PoM 10% heal per bounce. In addition to this they have more cc options than disc with chastise. And apotheosis reset all holy words for even more cc and instant heals. Other than this the potential legendary that can cheat death. Just curious on your thoughts I have had alot of fun in pre patch so far around 2100 rating.

Thank you for such an awesome contribution to PvP community! Really like your guides; You were super insightful on Allcraft. I have been trying to get into PvP for a long time, but unfortunately my main is mage, and I can't just get over the entry barrier. In shadowlands, I hope to change my main for the first time since WotLK. How do you learn set up comps, anyway? Should I keep trying set up class like rogue or priest, or go for something simple? I do understand melee cleaves that do pressure, but somehow I can't get my head over CC chains. I try to continue CC from my arena mates whenever we have burst / no DR, but I can't go higher than 1600. There are constant complaints due to lack of damage or control.

If that is something you are interested in, that is fine! Shadow Priest would be a good class to kind of introduce you into learning set up comps. Just make sure you get very comfortable understanding DR's through S-arena or gladius, and timing them with your damage cooldowns. Watching out for PvP trinkets (gladiator's medallion) is also an important aspect of WoW

I've found that if you switch out storm bolt for impending victory you get just enough sustained heals between impending and the dmg reduction behind ignore pain and defensive stance. amazing for duels, less so for bgs. But the arms rotation and abilities just don't flow or feel very good.

With someone who is trying to get into PVP heavy and watches all your content from interviews, your videos, streams, all craft etc. I got the research down but as a Frost Mage what would you recommend the best way to find teammates for arena, and am I just limited to RMP or MWarlockP if my goal is to get Gladiator for the first time. Hello, Stoopz! i wanna main Disc but i feel like i need to have an alt healer ( which i dont want) , cuz i will struggle find ppl to play with 2s-3s ( around 2.2-2.4 cr) , do you think disc will have more viable comps in SL ? I dont feel like waiting for like 1-2 hours in LFG just to find a feral, especially as the MMR goes higher and also i cannot play Rdruid cuz i dont like shapeshift, what do you suggest ?

Disc will be one of the best healers if it stays the way it is. You shouldn't have trouble finding groups, but rather the right classes to paly with. I feel that Druid would give you better flexibility in that aspect

Hi Stoopz!!! I am sort of a dk main, have played it for a year and got glad(eu). Then I also started playing hpala on a side as my alt and I loved it. After playing hpal for 3 month I got glad on it too(eu). Now going into SL i mislike how the hpala is, but I rly want to have an alt to heal as it is a fun side job. Stoopzz been paying attention to your videos for quite some time, keep up the good work! I do have a question though: I've been mainly healing with a buddy for the past 2 expansions (played all 5/6 healing specs at a 2k+ rating), I am looking to change that in SL and go DPS. My buddy is going Spriest and I want to pick a ranged (for raid) spec that will pair well with him. What are your recommendations for something to compliment his spriest? The options I see being good are Godcomp and Shadowplay but correct me if I'm wrong. With those though, I am a little concerned about a learning curve for each class... mage with the mobility usage and survivability and warlock is the ability to get damage out when you are being tunneled by a melee cleave, which would you recommend for someone that is fairly new to DPS. (I did get an ele to 2.2k last season so I have some experience as it) Thanks in advance!!

I've played since launch and I've never seen a more braindead class than demon hunter. Low skill high reward is a horrible design model, that's why they're being nerfed so hard.

@@Amabar there is a lot of these classes. Look at bm hunter. 90% of his dmg is his pet and the only thing u gotta look for is to keep up the buff. Same thing about unholy dk. You basically only use 3 buttons and the rest is just calling his army that does 70% of his dmg.

Hey Stoopzz, this will be sort of a specific case question regarding class/spec decisions going into Shadowlands. My friend and I are part of a larger group of individuals who come back each expansion to check out all the new content and screw around in pve and pvp. Though we heavily participate in all the various forms of content, our emphasis between the two of us always ends up being 2v2 arena and pushing mythic+. We always raid as well but only at a Heroic level which doesn't seem to ever necessitate specific classes or comps for us. So my question regarding our specific situation going into Shadowlands is this: If our focus will be mostly playing 2v2, pushing high keys, and then eventually trying to push more in 3v3 when our Arms warrior friend returns from overseas, which classes would you recommend to best fit those roles? I had been considering Warlock but was unsure of its upcoming viability in a 2s setting for Shadowlands. Thanks for the content man

I think if you really want to play Warlock, you could play Warlock and Druid/Rsham, and that would be okay for 2s, and pretty decent for 3s. Shadow priest isn't a bad option either

If those are your friends, and they are not going to quit on you, I'd go with the feral for Jungle. Windwalker is a more well rounded class for solo play. So ask your friends what their plans are

Hey! Why is Disc Priest supposed to stick with setup based comps and not melee cleaves?

Their kit excels in those situations, and they need to be in a comp that can use their set up to peel and allow them to do damage while everything is controlled. Otherwise, your disc priest can just get trained vs other melee comps.

Hi folks, I think Undead its good as warrior, because you can use your "Will of the Forsaken" against fear/cham/sleep, and save your "Berserker Rage" for other CC`s and also the cannibalize its very usefeul. what do you guys think ?? im aware that the race its not supposed to be importat but i really care in this specific point about being more protected against thoses CC, but at the same time i dont want to be wating one racial skill. so what do you guys think ?

I am considering maining resto shaman for pvp and pve, but I don’t want to make an orc because I don’t like their aesthetic and I’d rather be a troll or goblin. If you planning to play a resto shaman in PvP like Arena, Orc is definitely the better choice

In essence: Play hybrids at your on risk because the hybrid tax is in effect, if you want to sleep well stick to mage/rogue/warlock as always.

this has been addressed on various discords already, with the new revamped leveling its better to have 2 characters of same class for 2 specs, i have a separate character for arms warrior and prot warrior as well as 2x paladin for prot and holy etc, the covenant system etc would hinder you a lot and swapping is not recommended so better to spend 2 days leveling a spec to 50 now while you got time

@@Z3rks3 so lets be realistic here, i am curious - if i can play 3-4 hours a day, 5 days a week, how many specs do you think i can keep at decent item level and up to date with content?

I loved the video but i have concerns. I would like to play casual M+ and BG (maybe some rated but the state of rated bg as a solo player is terrible), but alone which makes it really hard to decide . In this case what do you think will be more appriciated in pugging? Druid or paladin. I feel feral is almost the weakest class in the game and guardian is solid but not liked as much as paladin where you can carry a group as prot. ( Want to tank in M+ and play mostly dps in pvp because its a really hard with the burst classes and im not that good, my highest rating was 1.7k with hpal in legion) Do you think there will be a specific covenant/class type that is going to be laughed at and denied because of your choice? Hey man I’ve maimed feral druids for so long I don’t heal a lot but in your opinion as far as wanting both over and pvp you think druids will be liable this expansion balance and feral specifically @Stoopzz_TV

What do you mean Feral havent done good in PvE for a while? I play Feral all the time and i never had problems in +15s. Its just that you need a bit more "effort" than picking a hunter for example, but personally it is much fun.
