I think the only ranking I was surprised here, was how little you like SMB 2 (NES). I also think your current feelings are messing with your true ranking of Super Mario World but I get it, you have played it out to the point you are now underrating it. I have a feeling a future ranking will elevate that one up a tier or two.

My honest opinion, if I were to say what my favorite Mario games were, I would probably choose out of nostalgic reasons Super Mario 64 since that is one I played a lot on Nintendo 64 back when it came out and I had a lot of fun with, still having fond memories of it. Another would be Super Mario World 2 because I liked the colorful crayon-drawn graphics and the boss battles and again was a game I had lots of fun with. After buying a Switch two years ago, I played as far as newer games are concerned Super Mario 3D World (again enjoyed that one a lot) as well as New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe (even more fun than 3D World in my opinion). Had the 3D World version that had Bowser's Fury on it and didn't have that many issues with it but definitely the least of the newer games I played. I didn't love the first Paper Mario game, my brother did. But I have liked the more recent ones. It's in the RPG category I guess so there is a lot of dialogue but I did like The Switch one. Never played the Mario Party games. But I would agree with most of your tier list in the ranks that you put them.

Try keeping your weapons on one side of your inventory so its faster to switch between them during a battle. Its tough switching to your boots when you have to scroll past health items

Wow, C rank for Super Mario RPG, a JRPG, out of respect for its art and music. That says a lot about its art and music. It's still my favorite Mario RPG. The remake is good but, I don't know, something about the accomplishments of the original on a 16-bit system make it better. Bowser's Inside Story is my second favorite Mario RPG.

While I haven't even come close to playing all of these games, I HATED the Mario Party Advance game. It had this dumb system where you had to earn a number of turns and I, only a couple of times, was able to earn more turns to continue playing. That way of playing the games was so stupid and frustrating that I haven't played it since.

Well my favorite Mario game of all time is Milk Bottle Mario. But as far as your question goes, Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros 3 I would definitely rank a D if given the chance to redo this. The reason why is because Wonderful Mario Bros is so good that I have to put it in it’s place. And honestly, Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros 3 with Super Mario Bros 2 is the superior game. And if we are really going to get technical, Super Mario Advance 3 Super Mario World Yoshi’s Island for GBA would be ranked even higher. But thats a pal cart so I dont count it. So instead I will say my top Mario is Luigi.

I can't stand RPG's, but Super Paper Mario, which boasts real-time combat, won me over during the Wii-era. That Soundtrack is god-tier. There hasn't been a single Mario game since that can touch it imo. But i don't think i'd have the patience to play through it now with the insane abundance of dialogue. :P Give me NewWave/Faux retro sidescroller action platformers with Ninja Gaiden III: Ancient Ship of DOOM difficulty.

Well normally in rankings lowercase j is the top of the list. And A is near the bottom. But for my rankings I like to put S at the top but sometimes I change it. For example if I do a tier ranking on Rocketeer games I usually make the top rank a K because K is a letter in Rocketeer. Or if the game was Balloon Fight I would make the ranking an X for when the Balloons pop. So that this makes more sense a Balloon Fight Tier chart would go "X,A,B,C,F,K,00" Meaning double 00 at the bottom to represent the two O's in the word Balloon.
