Honestly, the best part of this video is absolutely the ending. Hearing Schaff talk about how excited he is to be able to talk about the things he loves instead of being held back to only being known as a movie reviewer really put a smile on my face. You can hear how happy and free he sounds knowing what the future holds for all of his channels. I actually felt emotional knowing how long I spent here and seeing him feel happy doing what he loves instead of feeling required to do something out of meeting the expectations of others.

Honestly, most of the people I watch on youtube could get away with a change in topic. I watched OSP red (normally the ace queen of myhology) talk about solar eclipses. I watched Sovietwomble (self-proclaimed knobjockey/video game youtuber have a long-ass meltdown over The Forest) I've watched Hbomberguy (long-format video essayist/debunker of conservative conspiracy theories) talk at length about the Roblox Oof-sound, and the guy who claims to have made it (his mom is very proud). These people, just like Shaff, have obvious types of video subjects, but sometimes it's particuluarly fun to see them try new things, kinda like a holodeck or crossover episode.

@@dinotaco4651 Interesting. I've mostly traveled in Europe, where they seem to be pretty universal. Although now that I think about it, I've rarely had to go through any minor airports, since I only fly when the distance is too far for other transport options within a reasonable time. Perhaps going through smaller airports is more common in America, due to the distance between the east and west coasts and relative emptiness in the middle, combined with the lack of non-car transport options. Anyway, there's a lot of possible factors influencing this, but I'll stop rambling. The main thing is that it's pretty funny that Schaff thought Airport Boost Pads were unique to Chicago when they exist all over the world.

My siblings and I have a tradition of playing as the renegades in Renegade Round Up and basically hiding behind the pillars of the Bell Tower until we were the last ones left. An interesting part of this is that he doesn't particularly rate 8's base game Nitro section that highly - on average it's lower than 7's Nitro selection, a game with a supposedly fairly weak set of Nitro courses. In terms of his rankings of Nitro (or, well, just the whole roster in the games that don't have Retro selections) selections generally, Wii runs away with the gold medal, then DS, then 7 and Double Dash's courses tie for third, then 8 in fifth. Then Super Circuit, 64 and Super Mario Kart rounding things out.

One of my favorite parts was the Ninja Hideaway segment. I was genuinely kinda shocked to see it rank SECOND. I remember playing it when it first came out on tour and thinking, “This is pretty difficult.” ON THE MOBILE GAME. Imagine what they could’ve done if it was in 8 Deluxe. Would’ve loved to see RyderKartDX, Shy Guy Kart, Kart Life, and Mankalor on here too but besides that, it’s been an incredible journey seeing this entire series now in its fullest. Loved seeing so many content creators here that we’ve seen for years or up and coming ones that became popular over time over the course of the Booster Course Pass speculation! Oh my gosh! The way that Schaff demonstrates Sweet Sweet Canyon’s lack of memorability by testing us left my jaw touching the floor. As much as i loved the ranking, one of my favotite parts of this video were the credits. Granny Schaff’s cameo was the sweetest thing ever

1:29:06 The coolest airport moving walkway I've been on is the one at the Atlanta airport. I had landed there by myself at the furthest gate from the entrance where my ride was, but the shuttle train was down, so I had to walk the entire stretch of the airport, taking about 30 minutes. It was a super cool experience, kinda felt like I was on a journey. It took me through some historical displays showing the history of Atlanta starting from 11,000 BCE to modern day, one section that was a simulated forest, with low lighting, a fake tree canopy, and nature sounds; including a thunderstorm that happens randomly, and one section full of African sculptures, photographs, and paintings. I think there was another art segment too, as well as some walkway sections with absolutely nothing. Overall a really cool experience, just soaking in everything on this long journey from one end of the airport to the other. The KZbin channel Elevating Denver has a video of the entire walk, from The F concourse (furthest back) to the T concourse (furthest front), it's the only video online with the entire thing! Oh yeah and the Mario Kart 8 ranking was pretty neat too

I think a lot of people come to this channel for your passionate, well thought out, takes on things. I think its why your Shrek videos blew up. Its just kind of infectious to see people go on about passionate topics. To hear you go on a gush about the tracks you love makes me want to go play them. I think too many youtubers get burnt out chasseing the algorithm, and it sucks all the joy out of the channel. I love the video game stuff. I found this channel, like many others, with your video on Shrek 2, but I subscribed for your video on Majoras Mask. Do what you love and we'll all have a great 2024.

I am likely biased as a German who regularly visits Berlin, but I have so much appreciation for the Mario Kart track portraying not just the German wall, but the fall of the wall by Thwomps throwing themselves down. That is so inspired, and it elevates an otherwise basic track for me. I am also grateful for the love the Singapore track is getting here, every time I hear the city tours being thrown in together as being bad, I feel the urge to hold an essay about how it's among the best new courses, so thank you for representing that. In general I agree that the booster course pass gave us some of the best tracks of an already outstanding Mario Kart, making this a sort of Mario Kart Ultimate that future series entries will have a hard time comparing to. It might have some bad tracks especially now, but you just can't compare to this lineup of bangers. A lineup of bangers is also a great way to describe your video output - I learned a lot about awesome transitions from you. Thank you for your content even in a difficult year, and your plans for the future sound awesome, too. I am so happy to be sticking around! Happy holidays!

Another cool thing about the course is that Nintendo ADDED a shortcut to it in a patch. When it was first added, there was a death plane that you were pretty much set to hit if you ran into the last Whomp on the wall, but they got rid of it, and now it's a mushroom shortcut.
