I dont get why they nerfed fury like that. Playing melee is stressfull enough but now doing less dmg than ranged is stupid. Aoe cap from 8 to 5 means bye bye high keys since pushing high there is always at least a couple big pulls which will bring down your overall. Gotta test Anger managment and see if it can "fix" the problem a bit.

Unfortunately fury doesn't have the necessary utility to be viewed as "meta". Similar to s3 dragonflight where I took a break last time there is no sense taking a warrior over another class in higher keys unless our damage output is greater. Kinda feels like current tuning would be fine if we could bring BL/hero for example. Otherwise we just aren't bringing enough to the table.

Outlaw can maintain theoretical 100% uptime on feint with it off GCD, they got better self-healing when Vanishing which is on Restless Blades as well, and have no reason to hold BtE after exiting Subterfuge window due to reset. You can very clearly tell which specs the devs play or enjoy a lot as those were already the best and most popular and received big, positive changes, while underrepresented and underperforming classes were just left to suffer and rot. Huge swing and a miss by the balance department, such that there is one, which I doubt, and it will likely put a huge damper on their 20th Anniversary patch as this controversy will be remembered far longer than any of the other content they plan to provide.

I think our damage is okay. We don't have the highest peak, but we have consistent damage. In a dungeon, my overall is relatively competitive. I think we just lack utility. We only have supbar utility like mystic touch (only for melee) and leg sweep. Rop is versatile which is dope but i feel like we are missing something. All 3 specs need some help, if we could have a buff like paralysis as aoe enrage dispel, or at the very least reduced cd if dispelling an enrage. Or an aoe detox. Hell even aoe interrupt like whirling ox kick.

Maybe Aug could be more preferrable than ele for premade party with communication through discord, but I think this type of tier lists always based on average level of players in pugs. All Shamans provides very strong party support utilities for season 1 dungeons and CC (aoe poison removal, aoe stuns etc). In addition, ele shaman more reliable dps than mage or unholy dk in pugs, as it is way more easier spec to draw its full dmg. mage or unholy dk they are strong, of course, but only they are good at their class, and when whole party align their progress on dungeon with their big cd skills. it is always not a wise decision to assume that case in pug.

i do appreciate your opinion, but if you are a broadcaster, giving out stuff like this, it should be related to known numbers and not "something i believe". you rate fury on impressive, the class that got target capped in 11.05. aug was never taken due to dmg, its the crowd control and defensive that it provides and will still be top tier. arcane mage is way faster and better than fire, fire is just working on flamestrike build, what has very low prior dmg compared to "real" prior dmg class, so it provides "no" speed etc. numbers even saying the same. you really should study numbers and changes before posting this.

@@jette24 Most builds are still all pretty close with each other in reality. There are a couple of lower outliers, but the differences between the mid and top and all within 10%. What makes classes broken isn't their damage necessarily. It's more that they have a good damage profile, with burst that lines up with pulls, and also the utility that works well for the season. People forget that the god mode comp of spriest, mage and aug were so strong wasn't due to the damage -- it was due to the fact their they had so many ways of surviving absolutely everything while still pumping. They barely sacrificed damage while having extremely diverse damage profiles and being nigh unkillable with proper utility usage.

The problem is M+ terrible right now. If you DPS - you cant find group. I stoped playing after in end if week 2 i cant find eny key with ret, 2000 rio and 616 IL. Dungeons punishes with break key for one wipe, fuck it. And its not was always like that, i played 3 and 4 season DF, it wast even close. If blizzard want my money - they must fix M+ for DPS and non S tier specs. And dont tell me to push my key or play with friends, its not a solution to bad design.

@@ritchy3875 The Problem with "pushing your own key" is that people would leave after one wipe. The key you spent so much time push to that level and got broken within the first pull with toxic pug. It came around to the problem that keys are so difficult and punishing. It would take forever to find tank/heal and imagine that your key just got abandoned after 1 wipe (cant even finish it).

If you wanna make it personal, am at 2.680 rio with mostly 11s done and i barely am able to play for 2 hours to go. That doesnt stop 80% of my other specs outdpsing me solely on class balancing. Warlock legit doesnt have a spec in the top 15 of raiding and the top 10 of m+. Based on statistics, how is it that difficult to understand? Locks are weak.

bad mage players are bad yes. mage has insane defensive tools but you have to know how to use them. they are squishy when brainlets tunnel on their terrible damage and die from not rotating defensives correctly.

It's very skill based. Mages have the most defensive utility of any class BUT mages also are significantly squishier than other DPS classes, so if you get hit by something without using one of those defensives you'll get one shot and die much faster than other classes, but if you're good at using your defensives, you can survive anything.

Glad I don’t “pay attention” to “your opinion”. Been maining monk since pandaria and they are def in one of their best states. Tanking is great. I’ve seen a 605 il monk doing 900k dps for a dungeon run. Ntm healing wise, mw are a tier. Done watching and not subbing
