Ooblets, coffee talk, and Fae Farm have been some of my favs this year that you have on your list. Some games I have been loving that I recommend are Dave the Diver, Spiritfairer, Roots of Patcha, and Hogwarts legacy. Blanc is cute but short,and minabo is a very unique but fun game. I have Wylde Flower and Strange Horticulture on my to play this year

I also loved HL and Spiritfarer! That last one made me cry sooooo much, it's such an amazing game! And I am planning to try out Dave the Diver sometime this year since everyone seems to have great things to say about it. Same for Roots of Pacha, just waiting for it to go on a good sale on the Switch before I pull the trigger. :) I hope you enjoy Wylde Flowers and Strange Horticulture, they are both amazing! ❤

I didn’t see you mention Sun Haven. I cannot recommend this game enough. Couldn’t get into Stardew and it’s everything I wanted Stardew to be and so much more, plus it’s FANTASY! The no stamina, able to customize the day length and the option to either be able to take damage or not makes this, in my humble opinion, the best cozy game I’ve played since ACNH.

I haven't played it yet! It looks like the kind of game I really want to play in bed or while my husband watches TV, so I'm waiting for a Switch release, but it's soooo tempting to see it going on sale so often on my Steam wishlist...I'm really hoping they finally release this year so I can play!

I love your list. Since you love visual novels you might like I Was a Teenage Exocolonist. High replayability, great story, great ratio of reading to other gameplay. Highly recommend it.

I fought hard for and finally got a refund for the $100 I paid for the ultimate edition of dreamlight valley on Nintendo switch. They were refusing to refund it even though I haven't been able to play it since launch because on the switch it gave me and a lot of other people get horrendous motion sicknes because of how bad it runs. Going to try the apple arcade version instead

$100!? I'm assuming that's CAD, but man, that's so expensive! I ended up linking my cloud save to the Steam version after I got it on a sale because the Switch was really struggling whenever I tried to decorate; I had no idea that it was still running so poorly even after so many patches!

I also love talking about video games especially all things Nintendo. I have 14 medical conditions and am stuck at home 24/7 so my games is my escape. But because I’m in bed pretty much all day every day I can only handheld game so I rely solely on my switch lite and iPhone to game. It’s getting to a point now that there’s a desperate need for a new Nintendo system sooner rather than later with how many games are struggling to run on it though

@@RachelXKnight666 I agree, it's time for a new Switch! I've started saving for it already, so I can preorder one as soon as they announce it (hopefully soon)! I feel you on the chronic illnesses - I have migraines, chronic fatigue, ADHD and am in the process of being diagnosed for something that is most likely going to turn out to be Lupus, so I also barely leave the house myself. Since I work from home, making videos to talk about games and then chatting on streams and in the comments is kind of my main social outlet! Out of curiosity, have you watched any of Paytonscorner's content? She makes lots of cozy game videos and her channel's motto is 'chronically ill and cute'; I love her vibes and how openly she talks about the reality of living with chronic pain!

Hahah, I'm happy it wasn't just me! I gave it multiple tries, but it never managed to keep me playing longer than a couple of seasons. I totally get what you mean by too much too fast, it can definitely get overwhelming! I've got lots of fun cozy videos planned, so hopefully you'll see more from me soon! 😁
