@@SamuelReyes-ub2nc Chase has a guideline where you can only be approved for a credit card if you have had less than 5 new credit card applications within the last 24 months. Hence the phrase "5/24". Sebby uploaded this video on May 24th, 5/24. So 5/24 day is the day that people tend to talk about their Chase Cards. Hopefully this helped.

Yeah I agree with the Starbucks card, I always think it's pointless since I do not go to starbucks often and IMO they do not have the best coffee. I usually go there if it is the only option. Plus those Star rewards are not much, you can only redeem them for drinks and stuff and its alot of stars to get them redeem too.

I just got the slate. I did the no interest in 15 months. It's savings was really good for me. I paid off my credit one and closed it. Plus my cap 1 that never reported. And a green dot secured that I have had for over 2 years. So slate worked for me. The rep said I can upgrade to freedom in 6 months or just get it as additional card from them. My scores are good. I just wanted to get out of debt soon. I don't want to be paying credit card bills when I am 80 on social security. Thanks sebby. Love your videos 😍.

Loved the video. Haven't heard of the Hyatt Card ranked 2nd, so it was good to hear a little about it; will definitely research it now. The Chase Unlimited had been my good to right now ONLY because of the 3% promotion they had recently. Then I transfer points to my CSP card for better UR usage. I'd rank it a tad higher for the first year with its current promo.

I had a Chase card (can't remember the name) since 1996. It was kept going because I had an annual autopay from it for a credit monitoring agency. Geography and personal habits really can alter rankings of the top cards. Southwest doesn't fly out of our city so that card is of zero value. When we fly, our layovers are short so lounge access is rarely needed and our home airport doesn't have any, so the CSR is less valuable and I personally value an airline card higher to get free baggage. Having said that after a year I will consider upgrading my CSP to CSR to get the higher multipliers and the 1.5% boost. Great video - yes I would like to see more like this.

CSR for sure is #1. I’m not that sure about SW Priority: many benefits you can get w/o the card (2 free checked bags, free cancellation of award booking, award booking same availability as cash booking), and the annual statement credit and points just slightly offset the annual fee. The companion pass point accumulation is a good reason, but feel that’s too far of a goal at 110K points for me who doesn’t fly domestic that much (and SW is pretty much not international) unless you get the business card too. Good points about the other cards.

I Have A Question, *I Had a ''Thin Credit File'' and a FICO SCORE of 0, So I Started My ''Credit Re-Build Journey'''* Back in May of this year, with the Capital One & the Discover It Secured Cards (Both starting with a & $200 Credit Limit). The Capital One Graduated After 5 Billing Cycles and Increased my Credit Limit To $500, The Discover It tho, after 8 Months, (Just Recently) Increased My Credit Limit To $2000?!! I Was Like, WOW, Surprisingly!! I Now have *a FICO SCORE well over 700!* My Question to you is Do You Think I would qualify for any of these card(s) at This Time? I Want To Get Two more Credit Cards for a Total of 4 Starter Cards in My ''Credit Re-Build Journey'''?...Also do you think I Should Apply For The Citi Double Cash Back & The Case Freedom at The Same Time or should I Just apply for one RIGHT NOW? (Now Correct Me If I'm Wrong, But I Do Believe I Would ONLY get *1 Hard Inquiry Right?* {Like what happen when I Applied for The Capital One & Discover It Secured Cards, *ON THE SAME DAY?)* Please Give Me Your Honest opinion! Thanks.

Question kind of off topic. I have a player 2. And she has CSR and I have a venture. After we buy our first house in a couple months we will start getting as many sign up bonuses as possible. Is it best to each get each of the chase cards or only one of each card between us. So I’d have CSP and she has CSR etc. or maybe we get opposite cards then refer her to the cards I have and she refers me to her cards?

How would I know if your cc is secured card? I have 3 out of your 4 card.
@sweis125 жыл бұрын
I would NEVER reccomend credit one cards. Really bad rates and lots of fees. Just go with one of the secured cards.
@junito10085 жыл бұрын
sisslims29 guess Because You have to put some kind of Deposit to open the account. Most of the time, They give you the same line of credit of your first deposit. If you send them $500, They will give you a $500 CC. But Capital One is a little different, They will give you a $200 CC and you for a deposit ranging from $29 to $200 depending of your credit...but if you make the first 5 payments on time, They increase your available credit right away. That’s why I have Capital One as the Best Secured card on the market.
@junito10085 жыл бұрын
Spencer | Sweis12 I have it and it’s not that bad. It’s true that they have few fees but that’s one of the consequences for having bad credit. You just have to make sure to pay your balance every month so You avoid paying interest. The good thing about Credit One is that They report every month to the 3 credit bureaus and They increase your available fast. After you build your credit with those 4 CCs, you can apply for a new one and cancel the one that it’s not working for you.
@nicholasrivera92804 жыл бұрын

@bobedaone5 жыл бұрын
I mostly agree with the ranking, but I would slot FU and Explorer higher. FU is the jam for big-ticket non-bonus spending (outside of the sign-up period with a new card). I honestly don’t use it that much because I infrequently make such purchases and am usually getting a new card, but it’s nice to know it’s there if I’m going to get new speakers or an appliance or something. Depending on circumstances, Explorer provides huge value; it’s the only “tier 3” card I know of that provides reimbursement for known traveler programs; it unlocks access to more award space; it provides two lounge passes every year, which are handy when a PP lounge is inconvenient or nonexistent. Also, for anyone who is trying to economize their card collection and/or does not have a CSP/CSR, I believe the United cards are the only other Chase cards with primary rental car insurance. IHG Premier is of interest to me as the holder of the legacy IHG card, particularly now that it’s clear that they will not be grandfathering the unlimited anniversary night beyond the first year. The Premier is a better value proposition for anyone who actually stays at IHG properties, since the break-even is $533 annually. Shame that Chase does not seem to do upgrade offers like Amex, or I would strongly consider a product change. Meanwhile, Bonvoy Boundless is the key reason I wish I were still under 5/24. I’ve historically found the $5k minimum spend to be onerous. However, ironically, it makes a lot of sense as a mid-to-late game card, in my opinion. Southwest cards have always put me off for their lack of even an unpublished no-fee downgrade option. Also, I really wish Chase would make the Prime Card UR-earning instead of cash back. Or offer a sister card with that feature. 3 or 4 UR points at Amazon would be game-changing, and I would wager the majority of that card’s customers would still cash out those points.

You can get a PDQ waiver if you spend more than 25k in a year on the card making it easier to get elite status. I think he meant to say that you need to spend less actually flying in order to secure status.
