Does Johnson have the most upside? That is hard to say. There is not enough information to evaluate how he would perform with a different team or organization, especially considering he has only been an offensive coordinator for two years with just one team. While Dan Campbell saw potential in him and promoted him, and the Lions' success has been bolstered by Brad Holmes and Dan Campbell drafting well, it is unclear how much of that success is tied to Detroit’s overall talent and structure versus Johnson’s abilities alone. It is a scenario of high risk, high reward, or a potential huge flop. Your argument about Glenn could be said about Johnson, being a great coordinator, doesn't necessarily mean he'll be a great head coach.

Your underachieving argument with McCarthy could be said about Reid in Philly, right? What happened to Reid when he went to KC and paired with MaHomes. But, McCarthy and Caleb Williams isn't Reid and MaHomes.
