Your ranking is pretty spot on for me. The main difference with mine is that I would swap McLaren and Alpine. The Orange and blue of McLaren works for me, while the pink and blue of Alpine do not. As far as the Alpha Romeo goes, it looks so good now from the front and it is by far the best from the back. The only criticism I have is the shade of Red of Orlen on the sides. Overall such a beautiful livery.

I disagree with you on the Alphatauri. It is in fact one of my absolute favorites this year. Waaay better than the Red Bull. The Alfa Romeo is sooo beautiful this year. I really liked the Ferrari but then that Alfa dropped. 😍 The Aston Martin is simply gorgeous as well. That green is lovely and the car itself is aesthetic AF. Was not impressed by the Mercedes, the Williams, or the Alpine. I especially felt let down by the Merc. Silver just doesn't work for me like the black did.

There's so much to love about it: thr classic font, the beautifully handled separation between the red and the white, the wheel covers, the Italian flag. It's art on wheels

For me, it's all about the iconic colours liveries, and this year, all of the teams make it absolute perfection, here are my lists: 1. Alpine 9.8/10 (I don't know why you guys don't like it, but I would say it was absolutely insane, I love the alpine blue and the iconic pink and wished they would be combined together perfectly on their car since the sponsor announcement. And it did and did it in an absolute fashion. It just works very very well together. Also, the full pink colour would bring back the BWT Aston Martin Pink Mercedes vibe that I was craving it back for a long time) 2. Aston Martin 9.5/10 (Absolute perfection of the combination of dark green with the lime green sleeky lines that meet my expectations on their 2022 car, just absolute the f1 car I am the dream of and I'm a very big fan of it. 3. Ferrari 9.4/10 (Sick combination of red and black colours combination and just works very well on their car. But they didn't bring back the Santander white color to the Ferrari, that would look better IMO. Plus every angle of the car just works very well) 4. Alpha Romeo 9/10 (Basically looks absolutely very very cool and sick, it just works very well. The livery designer is the greatest among all of the teams and very creative with the iconic colors and well combination 5. Mercedes 8/10 (The sleek compact design of the sidepod is just insane and work very well with the sliding turquoise color and the comeback of silver livery is just insane) 6. Williams 6.5/10 (It's just ok for me, but it will look too dark and less vibrant on bright sunny tracks) 7. Red Bull 6/10 (Decent and Iconic, it looks cool in a way that I like it, but others, Nah.) 8. Mclaren 6/10 (I love the gulf colors combination, but the VELO logo on the side pod with the orange just don't look good for me, it feels weird and awkward) 9. Alphatauri 4/10 (Very decent actually, again bad front wing livery, but it looks good on the side) 10. Haas 3/10 (I don't know what they're doing seriously)

Agree with your top 4. Both Alfa Romeo and Ferrari looks absolutely sick! The only minor thing with the Alfa for me is the different color red of Orlen sponsor, a bit orange, should have been the same red as the rest.

My personal ranking + improvements IMO: 1. Alpine (think the shade of blue could be better) 2. Aston Martin (hate the lime green) 3. Ferrari (Just the black on top of the car) 4. Williams (The V on the nose is hideous) 5. Mercedes (The Mercedes badges are huge and clash with sponsors) 6. Haas (Liked the original livery but got some reason just black and white look nice) 7. Alpha Tauri (not a fan of design on side wish it was top half white, bottom half Dark Blue) 8. McLaren (Didn’t like gulf livery - but am a fan of the matte orange) 9. Red Bull (Too crowded and yellow on nose too long IMO) 10. Alfa Romeo (Blocky, don’t like the font, do like the Italian flag and view from rear)

It's a sensible list until you take RL testing into account. The Mercedes livery basically fell through the floor during Barcelona 2022 testing as its "silver" turned out to be more like dull grey. Also, their side pots didn't do much for the sidecar looking aesthetics

The McLaren has fallen short for me because one, like you said Matte doesn't look as good on cars. (However I know they mostly do it as matte clear coats are thinner, quicker to apply and lighter) And two because the new Lego McLaren car that dropped is a 2022 inspired chassis with the 2020/21 MCL35 Livery and it looks so much better on the new car that I wish they went with this new colour pallete but on that livery design

ferrari: 9.5/10 (white numbers would have made it a 10) mercedes: 7.5/10 (red kinda killed it but otherwise really sick) red bull: 7/10 (iconic but im getting bored of it) alfa romeo: 9.5/10 (the alfa romeo logo at the back made it a lil less pretty but otherwise this alfa romeo livery was the best since 2017 sauber) mclaren: 5/10 (too.much.orange.) aston martin: 9/10 (extremely clean but didnt blew me away like ferrari and alfa romeo) haas: 5.5/10 (meh. better without urakali though) alpha tauri: 7.5/10 (not as strong as their first AT01 but its pretty good still better than their AT02. agree that gloss would be better than matte) alpine: 5/10 for season opener livery, 7/10 for actual livery (majority blue is better) williams: 6/10 (geometry dash but i do agree it looks better on track. looks quite bad on renders honestly but still isnt great) just my thoughts

For just those 4, I'd go Alpha Tauri first, then Williams, McLaren and Alpine. The AT just looks better the more you look at it, and the Williams grows on you pretty fast too.

I didn't think Ferrari's could be topped. I honestly didn't. But one look at the Alfa and it was all over. Done. One of the best in recent history. I also agree with the AM in 3rd. I have a personal thing about silver cars -- I think they look cheap unless done really well, and this Merc ... looks cheap. It looks like it's made of pot metal to me. I don't hate matte finishes, but matte silver is a mistake all day every day.

I was excited for the alpine livery when they teased the pink/blue scheme. Alas, the end result was a bit disappointing. The sponsors in the front are just too many and looks like a page of a book with too many letters. But the main color offender for me is the mapfre red at the side. Its so out of place in the overall theme. The light blue in mclaren for me is not a great combo for the papaya orange. I much rather prefer the previous year's normal/dark blue and orange version. The standouts are Aston Martin, Ferrari, and of course Alfa Romeo. I hope they can perform well for Bottas' sake.

I have similar points to you (apart from McLaren) although my order from worst to best is: Alpine (Main, like you I think it looks stunning from the front although the red makes the side profile look terrible), McLaren (unlike you I hate the carbon, personally think it would look better if they reverted back to darker blue), Haas (both liveries), Alpha Tauri (best AT livery so far), Alpine (first two races, simpler design & better for it), Red Bull, Mercedes (grown on me, rear spoiler looks a treat), Alfa Romero (love it although I can't stop looking at the white nose), Ferrari (million times better than last year) and then the Aston Martin

Well, our tastes certainly diverge a lot. My rankings go: 1. McLaren - The orange and light blue just does it for me, and I like the modern funkiness of the design. 2. Aston Martin - Great colors, simple design, perfect execution. 3. AlphaTauri - Love the way this design flows with the lines of the car, and I think it AT looks better when it emphasizes white over navy. 4. Mercedes - Perfect execution of the classic Merc design. The red and sea green complement each other really well. 5. Ferrari - Best looking car for sure, but it covers for a livery that feels half-assed to me. Don't like the matte, the black smudge on the airbox, or the black numbers with no outline. 6. Alfa Romeo - Honestly, I find this one boring. The Alfa Romeo script doesn't look nearly as good on the side of the car as the badge did. 7. Red Bull - Generally great design, kind of ruined by the ugly Bybit logo. 8. Alpine - Blue and red good, blue and pink good, blue, pink, and red, ehhh. A bit too much. 9. Williams The W design on the back looks cool in the renders, but a the photos so far just make it look like a dark blue blob. 10. Haas - Hopefully now that Uralkali is gone, they'll come up with a new livery that looks more like their 2018 and 2020 cars.

I understand it's your opinion but i don't get the hype of the merc that silver looks good but that INEOS logo on the airbox it's just not good silver with red would never work and those merc logos are too big the team viewer logo is mixed with the badges the front wing has 4 colours the driver numbers are too small and hard too see it's just too complicated
