Final Antasma (Not only it's my favourite Mario and Luigi song but it's also one of my favourite songs on gaming. It has an amazing atmosphere and melody) 2. Adventure's end (Epic like really epic. Really good instruments with an amazing melody) 3. In the Final (I mean it's the most popular Mario and Luigi song for a reason) 4. Size up Your Enemies (I was really dissapointed by your placement for this song. I love it. It really has the vibe of how big is everything in the battle) 5. Something that happened to me about 2 years ago: I downloaded Among Us, but my phone for some reason didn't play the music or any sound, so I downloaded the *Dark Star* song and used it as a background to play. Now I can't listen to the song without thinking about the game 😅

i dig the joke about Come On, Again! since it appears in Paper Jam as the standard battle theme pre-Paper Mario. definitely sold me on watching the rest of the video. would be interested in hearing whether any positions would change if certain tracks were swapped out for their remake versions. thanks youtube algorithm, very cool!

As much I adore Superstar Saga’s main battle theme, rave music is kinda out of place for battle music. I also personally Antasma’s theme over the Dark Bowser battle theme. Don’t get me wrong, I love💕 songs a lot but I’ll the first (and probably only) person to a little bit overrated compared to Antasma’s theme. And before anyone wants to harass me for suggesting such a hot take, just keep in mind that it’s just my personal thoughts. So we can just agree to disagree if you think otherwise. Also Showtime and Battles In The Dream World my favorite🥰 normal battle songs, especially the latter. And Partners In Time’s boss battle song is my favorite when it comes to standard boss fights. Edit: I dumped a friend over a “wrong opinion” argument and said friend got triggered (for some reason that couldn’t comprehend) when politely I asked them to stop talking about Rick and Morty. This and OBNOXIOUS Pickle Rick meme are why I hate the show so much.

Including Attack and Rub but not any of the themes from the side modes seems strange, the exclusion feels arbitrary and weird

Attack and Run is more related to Giant Battles than whole side mode battles. It makes sense to say no side mode songs and yet still include Attack and Run, if not you'd have to remove the Giant Battle Themes as well for consistency. Though ranking every battle theme and leaving some out, despite being side modes, is kinda weird to me. They're still M&L battle themes, but I guess nothing can be done about it

@@malgai I’m gonna be brutally honest, he didn’t miss out on much. Dark Fawful is not an outstanding theme, just being a slowed down remixed Cackletta’s theme (a theme he already wasn’t fond of)

@@Hamantha Im with you on that, but on top of me just wanting this to be thorough, I'd say Dark Fawful wouldve ranked a little higher since the instruments and slowed tempo definitely helped set the overall tone, unlike the GBA soundfont in the og. It's more dark, sinister, imposing, and not like something you'd hear at a carnival
