Yknow... I'm still kinda annoyed about what happened with 1.4 in that regard. It didn't feel like 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, because it didn't expand the end-game. And it didn't need to. But because of that, it just felt like a lot of small updates, rather than a full update.

And all classes can attack from outside the screen expect for summoners with whips (although some of the summons themselves can do it). Even melees have projectiles on the stronger swords (and now there is zenith). All this to say: I personally think it is not fair that summoners have less armor than mages and ranged users. XD

As someone who loves multiplayer modded terraria, the damage calculator on bosses is actually really nice for my group. It lets us know who was lagging behind on damage, letting us focus on upgrading that specific person's gear. With it, you also have to realise that damage isn't everything, as there's more factors that go into a boss fight. For example, one player might have lower damage because they were constantly dodging and staying alive, letting the higher damage players respawn and deal a bunch of damage before dying. I personally think it's a good addition, but who knows lol

Mixing secret seeds is "I can't play 1.4.4 now" tier for me, hands down. For a while, it was literal. Choosing between Drunk world gen and Celebration Mk.10 was just too difficult. I wanted to have both at once really badly. ...I have since started at least 3 more Terraria playthroughs, though. lol The wait was just getting too long. ...I do need it, though; I need my Drunk Celebration worlds.

the starcrash is almost 100% a meteorite whip , it has got a lot of potential , they could even make a meteorite minion and make meteorite a mage+summoner ore , the starcrash could make your minions summon stars just like the firecracker makes your minions do explosions.

I could see where the Rat transformation would be very handy, and not just for treasure hunting, I’d imagine you could use it to dodge enemie or boss attacks as you’d be super small

So the thing about the massive amount of whips, is you can have them fit into one of two types. The first type of whip is used for buffing your summons as your main source of damage. The second type of whip can be used as your main source of damage itself, maybe through debuffs or just raw damage.

I can kinda see where you're coming from on the summoner count thing, but being honest, summoners don't get upgrades to the number of summons they have at a time very often. In all my summoner playthroughs, I've pretty much always known how many summons I could have at a time, because that's the amount of summons I'll be capped at for a while. It's a small number that changes infrequently; needing a whole UI screen purely for it seems like more development effort than it would really be worth. (Especially since it's useless if you're doing a non-summoner playthrough.) Whereas the simple change of just telling me how many summons I currently have out is in fact a game changer to me. No longer will I die during a multiplayer boss fight, respawn, and hectically spam my primary summon until I'm "pretty sure" that I summoned up to my cap before properly rejoining the fight. I just have to look up at the number in the UI and know if it's the number I'm aiming for. Besides, opening a whole other UI screen to double check that would actually slow me down in that instance, doing the opposite of helping me. Maybe like, the number for the minions changes color or turns bold if you're at your summon cap. That wouldn't be intrusive like a whole UI screen, while also providing some of that extra information.

Also the Flint is super OP in dead cells. If it functions the same it can be charged and releases a ground slam with a forward ground wave of damage. So it should be pretty late game to not break progression. Also it is essentially a mining pick so maybe it will have pick axe functionality?

talking about the new banner ui placement, in the settings you can choose which pages can be accessible from the inventory. the pages include stuff like duplication, the journey mode menu, the bestiary, the chat, emotes, and other things. Long comment, probably going to miss some stuff. Here's my general thoughts. Since the axe of regrowth was added I see no reason why anyone would mine trees in a tree farm with anything else since you'd have to replant the acorns otherwise. So the new ways of cutting down trees are fairly redundant. I can see people using the ax boomerang for removing trees they don't want tho, that'd be fun. Hardmode upgrades for fishing/mining loadouts is extremely welcome as having 4 armor in hardmode is very risky. The black and white filter is really cool, moon lord shirt just makes sense idk how this was forgotten for so long, all the boulders are awesome pls crush me more Fish being visible in the water is my favorite change even tho the conveyor belts and chest hoppers are functionally bigger additions. I rarely get immersed in games anymore so stuff like this is always 100/100 S+ for me. I don't get the hype behind transformations, but that's definitely a me thing and I'm glad people that DO like them have more to play around with More whips is a great addition. HUGE fan of patching up holes in progression. I have basically only play melee for 12 years and recently gave an arrow/archer only playthrough a try and there are so many missing bows it's insane. No Gold chest bow, no gem bows, no jungle bow or poison arrows (venom exists but no poison?), no desert bow or sturdy fossil arrows (even tho there's throwing weapons lol), no meteor bow or meteor arrows (could bounce like meteor shots), no mushroom bow or arrows, no dungeon bow...I'm not even in hardmode yet and there's just swiss cheese everywhere. I shudder to think what mage or summoner are missing. I really want to improve my knowledge of the other classes. More vanity is a meme like half the 5k items are just furniture. At this point tho why not? Add dirt furniture or you know what, furniture for literally every block why not?! Being able to keep liquids in bubbles for crafting is cool, but just makes me wish we had magic storage in vanilla...same with the hopper system and placeable demon alters tbh That's an insane request tho I get it. I'm happy with the poor mans versions of the functionality. Better than nothing. More vanity, unlike furniture, is extremely welcome. I love the idea of having basically infinite customization for your character. SPEAKING OF: The new pitch changes on character creation are probably my 2nd favorite addition behind the fish thing. I want a massive overall of character creation with new races and stuff like that. Skyrim and cube world got it so why not terraria? If being able to hold weapons while they are selected is real that is probably my 3rd favorite addition. Another awesome immersion thing . Agree completely with james on the tv thing. TV for every furniture type would be cool and maybe the terra tv is the one with the filter. Not sure if I understand the banner thing correctly, could be cool or useless idk Spectator mode is genius, score board is just asking for tilt but I don't play multiplayer so can't really give an opinion Never played dead cells but more items is cool More yoyo stuff is good, I haven't used them since they were added basically new music is great, bosses not having their own themes has added to the feeling of the game not feeling finished yet (Now we just need an item checklist for journey mode lol) Zombie arm particles are annoying don't like moonglow slimes are cool and different colored slimes are cool as well. More ways of getting herbs always good. Roller blades will be another golf or pogo stick that I never use but for the people that like them and are excited I am happy for you. resprites are good imo, the only resprites I don't like in games are because of nostalgia and the devs improving at their craft should be prioritized over my fond memories. Skyblock is really awesome. I really want relogic to go through a list of things minecraft has that terraria doesn't, and just add everything basically. Harmode bombs are exciting. I hope rocket Vs or Mini Nuke llls or actual nukes get added too so I can remove the hardmode ores that spawn out of bounds and spawn things. Overall I give the update a A+. Nothing bad, all good stuff. A lot of stuff that makes me excited for potential new future changes.

I think itd be cool if we got an achivment for the umbrella Like slow falling a certian length with an umbrella and the achivment name could be a merry poppins refrence Edit: small Grammer fix
