The hardest one is the one being trained every game, thats caster in melee group or male in casters group. Also aff. lock is super hard if you are playing against ppl who know how to lock you down since you have one school of spell, or if not, you will be in cc like if you are playing healer.

For playing the most popular game in the world, and a game that never ends, it is great to know that there is a group that continually produces content and provides support that never ends and only gets better. Keep up the good work guys! Thank you for also helping find out how to actually apply Shadowflame Wreathe to my weapons! Blizzard REALLY needs to add a tooltip to the enchant describing that people can only apply it inside a Fyrakk Assualt at a Shadowflame Incantation Table (kudos to @Keator for supplying this information). Also, you guys helped me with cool things like the instant cast (nearly instant cast) Warlock Demonic Gateway teleport, Eye of Kilrog Demon Pet trick, etc. Great stuff. Now, in regards to this video, I am wondering if making a video with the skill ceiling tier list would be a good thing, and if adding a section for tanks would even be worth it, or a skill (floor/ceiling) to relative strength ratio, if there is such a thing? A PVP sim website would be extremely valuable since the current simming sites and programs that I am aware of don't seem to be well-tuned to simming for PVP.

Ret doesn't really use the 1 min talent on wings anymore as the crit nerfs before and after patch pulled out its teeth. I was getting stomped on as the 1 min wings didn't do enough damage to force cds on certain classes. However, after swapping to crusade I now get the desired effect though I have to wait an extra minute :). Just please stop saying Ret has the strongest cd on 1 minute...Maybe say strongest cd on 2 min instead.

i think unholy deserves to be in the hard category and i can provide a few reasons to justify it you have 2 resources that you need to manage constantly and effectively (runes & runic power) you have diseases that need to be up on every target at all times, and this affects both your resources you have pets that need to be micromanaged and assisted for them to do effective damage, otherwise they get kited/rooted, or just attack the wrong person cuz theyre stupid you essentially only have one defensive being icebound fortitude because blizzard decided that AMS is going to be cosmetic this season, and lichborne is almost never used as a true defensive and you have amz which generally is used for your teamates who just walk out of it and die anyways and lastly the current iteration of the game heavily punishes you for just walking around acting like other melee, every lower rated dk friend ive had has quit playing dk because unless they are playing and positioning like a r1 in every game they just die instantly, frost and unholy are arguably consistently the most squishy of all plate wearing classes/specs except MAYBE sometimes ret though i honestly dont know how ret players die with a 1 minute wall and a bop and a bubble also this isnt even mentioning that you have grip, blind, stun, silence, interrupt, petkick, and petstun, which all need to be used effectively, and often used on the healer or off target which requires you to pay attention to at least 2 enemies at all times and get super clean setups, similar to rogue or sp

I hate when I decide to try a healer in PVP and then Blizz guts it to push a different spec. They gutted the defensive disc priest build and are forcing a dps based disc heal spec. I know that is what disc is supposed to be but it was nice to have a playstyle to get into a learn with. Id love a good spec to get back into pvp that is easy to learn and easy to learn the arena game and bgs with. Also would be nice to be able to do mythics with lol.

Holy Priest. It will force you to learn how to bait and avoid silence, how to manage stuns, how to LoS, and how to prepare for incoming damage - all while giving you some massive healing when you're able to stand there and go off. It's also fantastic in M+ dungeons. Plus, let's be honest, Holy Priest is the OG of WoW healers.

Good to hear DH is still considered easy although it has felt even harder than usual. I'm thinking maybe I should try fury for a chance. The easier, the better imo =) Although, to be honest, I seem to get equal results with all the classes I've tried. The hard part doesn't really seem to be your own class but rather what other people do.

Because DH isn't "Easy" it requires a lot of skill / positioning to not die in the opener and to use cool downs to survive like a Rogue to be effective. If you run in there like a mad man, you will die right away. It's only considered easy because you deal high AOE damage but outside of the cool down window you really squishy AF like a Rogue. I guess it all depends on what ranking you are at, but at higher levels you have to work hard to win in this meta.

@@Kanoog Yes, it seems I'm dying a lot. Even when I go full defensive. To be honest, I've almost never been above 1500. Lately I've struggled even at 1300 and ended last season falling back to 1200:s. Worst performance for years, but for some reason almost all games I've recently participated have had people with 2k+ xp even at low ratings. Not quite sure what the reason is, but these days it's really hard to get matched against other bad players. Maybe being able to only play on euro servers during week day mornings has something to do with the opponent distribution.

@@Kanoog it`s considered easy because it has few abilities, it`s mainly a brawler, it`s very forgiving and it has a low-skill point entry compared to a Rogue for example.

@@EleosGames The interesting thing is I tried sub rogue on the side for a year during Shadowlands and was getting exactly the same ratings regarless of which of my characters I played. Maybe you have to have a higher rating to notice the difference.

Feral needs a defensive buff. The dmg is good. The cc is doable ..but the defensive side is so terrible..its like throwing cotton candy in water.

Holy Paladin is so trash, yet the effort for Disc is the same for HPal. Blizzard is so volatile with balancing, they will never get a really good meta.

I play MW Monk and have a Holy Paladin, Holy feels like HOLY SHIT why does this class exist? MW Monk is insane with the heals and mana bar, Holy, the heals feel like I'm level 60.

@@Kanoog In the beginning of the expansion, I played Holy Paladin but had to swap to Rdruid. I knew they were going to gut the class during pre-patch. Problem is Blizzard thought the holy paladins at the time wanted melee-style.. they couldnt be more wrong. Im guessing the people who say they enjoy melee-wings are the players who weren't playing holy paladin previously. I'm returning after a hiatus and HPal is confirmed trash, the idea of a melee healer will almost never make sense because it can only be busted OP(fistweaving pre-nerf) or trash and useless, there's no balancing it. So now, I have to swap off Rdruid, to mist weaver because rdruid is mids at best. Their balancing is all over the place.

I don’t think destro or boomie are easy for beginners. Yes, it’s easier than other casters to get the damage out but if you don’t know how to kite properly (how and where!) you are going to get absolutely trained into the ground in melee lobbies. Shadow isn’t really any harder than these two. It can’t kite much so you don’t have to worry as much about that. Yes, you have utility to use but using that to a moderate level is not taxing.

Destro and boomie can do alot of damage with instant casts only and have strong simple survavibility especially lock. What you explained is literally every ranged dps, just that those 2 have easier time still being dangerous. Shadow gets shut down much more easily for new players they get locked trying to get vampiric touch and die, harder to get damage out and harder to survive idk how are comparing sp to those 2 for new players

@@ShinoMachida boomy is actually arguably the most fragile caster in the game. They are definitely not strong defensively. The only reason boomy is getting so much attention right now is their aoe build’s dmg. They haven’t changed in like 4 years and have always been considered punishing. Dispelling their dots literally lowers their damage by 50%

I picked up arcane as an alt last season and ended up with more solo games played than my main. It's fun as hell but unfortunately lacking in season 2. Both other mage specs are better for the pure fact that arcane can't put out any consistent damage while being targeted. I'm not the best mage around but did hit 2200 last season and 2600 on my ww. If I get put into a game vs a good hunter I just give them free wins every time 😂

Outlaw might be the hardest right now since it's basically a worse sub rogue, heavily reliant on uptime, less defensives, don't have that good of a burst and season1 tier set was what made the outlaw shine i don't think we'll even see outlaws at the top of the ladder.

As a ret paladin player i have to disagree with retribution overview. Ret is easy when it comes to mastering pve rotation, but in pvp situations where ret is still N1 cake for almost every class that has ranged slow to kite. With amount of utility ret brings for his/her team, in beginners hands they become useless. so placing ret as an easy spec after Fury or even arms is kind of not what i expected from a pro team like skill capped. Many more class/specs are in wrong tiers also. All the new pvp gamers out there, trust me, your rating Wont skyrocket as ret if you dont know what to press and when or when to push in for a kill and when to kite, maximum you will get is hardstuck at 1800 rating. As a side note if you have never played paladin in general you should try it, very entertaining class with all its 3 specs. Same goes for a destruction warlock, but with less utility spells, yes they do huge dmg, but in order to do so you need to be very good with kiting and fakecasting, else you will be overrun by melees, which as you all may know flood the solo shuffle. They will just pve you. Sharing my experience about the classes i know very well. P.S want an easy free rating roll enhance asap while it literally 1 shots, even in a players hands who has never played a shaman. Thank me later with likes :).

Hello there. If you are new to world of warcraft or generally new to this genre i would suggest you trying MM hunter for battle grounds. Easy to learn and does massive dmg when not being focused, low survivability-less tanky then other classes but in battlegrounds where you can stand behind your team members and do dmg while others take hits should work just fine. There are 2 versions of wings: a) 1 min CD -> flat 10% more damage + 10% more crit for 20 sec (23 sec with Divine Wrath talent); b) 2 min CD -> now wings can stack up to 10 times if you spend holy power during its duration, which is 27 sec / 30 sec with Divine Wrath talent (and it gives 3% more damage + 3% more haste per stack, so 30% more damage + 30% more haste at maximum stacks).

I have played Ret for nearly 16 years and we have been broken as fuck once ( for two-four weeks i heard ? )...and i missed it. They aint broken any more, and while the rotation is easy, in shuffle ( and in normal arena ) I know i can be the difference in a win or loss with my utility. Using freedom on the correct ally at the correct time, knowing who and what can get rid of your blessings and bubbles, Bubble/SaC combos and spell warding at the correct time, and lets not forget you have just HoJ and blind as a main set up, and while HoJ is potent, if you fuck it up no more cc from you until you get that timer back down, and blind has such a long CD. Not to mention if you blow bubble at the wrong time its night night. How dare you put frost dk FROST DKKKKKK as medium but not ret :O sure a new player can come in and bubble and pop wings but then hes dead next go.

I disagree with both warrior specs. Your defensive abilites are mediocre and if an enemy is able to root or slow you properly you are absolutely useless. classes like dk, hunter or enhancement can deal lots of range-dmg so this is not such a big problem.

Anyone who thinks survival hunter is somehow way more difficult than other melee is just romanticizing it to try and feel better about themselves. I've played survival hunter for years and it's by far the easiest hunter spec to land CC on, and it's damage rotation is not any more complex than BM or MM. Especially in Dragonflight since most of the survival-only utility is available to the other specs now, it's still the hardest hunter spec but not by much. The only reason it could still be considered harder than MM/BM is because it has a hit and run playstyle, but even that can be heavily simplified into "Is the healer off DR? Push in for a trap and mongoose bites. Is the healer on DR? Kite away".
