Yes i am so pissed about these 2 spells, sifting presences was cool itself the sound and animation, mad the DKs way cooler, and the skilled ones, did use UH presence for assaults, and Blood for when getting nuked from someone, that made the gameplay way better... And necrotic strike was also so good, stacking it multiple times, then use burst and melt down someone if possible... Tho i was never fan of the old rune system, only cuz DK is so slow, and runners like druids, hunters, mages, did piss me off, and spamming chain of ice/ HB did NOT use the UH runes, so it was kinda useless for me, when they did run, and i had x2 runes that could not spam chain of ice or HB in order to trash someone... But aside from that i had no problem with them.. These days AMS is joke, it pops on 2 sec of use (hell back in WOD frost DK was so strong, AMS with glyph did last 8 seconds, and never did pop before the 8 seconds..), and DS did heal so good in WOD/ MOP.. Today DS does nothing is just spell that dump ur runic power, and heals u for nothing... And after the plate nerf in pvp, DKs are free kills... Is disgusting...

@@syxqid3818 Well as i said, i had no problem with the old system overall, but the times when someone runs away on low HP and i have only x2 UH runes that sit there and i cant use them for HB or chains it did piss me off, and i really wanted inly cuz of this, all runes to be death runes, so i can use them the way i want... Total spam of HB or chains is a bliss, since we are so slow, and other classes run away with ease... Damn druids spam shape shift so much that even x6 runes are not enough to chain them... But if there is way to get what i had in WOD working DS, presences, old runes system, necrotic, working AMS, actual scary dmg, id take them in a blink of eye, and be happy........ Is so annoying warriors got stances back, paladins got auras back, meanwhile we got jack shht, no presences, no stuff like abomination might raid buff/ icy talons, or the old horn of winter... Hell they did even gut the death auras, that they introduced in Legion... Frost hearth stop aura was too op, so it was deleted, UH aura was ok, but got 50% nerf... Only Blood aura is still fine for now... It blow my mind, why this class is treated so badly, the devs that are responsible, deserve to suffer, and not well as we DKs do.....

They patched hunter dismiss pet way back in the day too. The work around was a macro to abandon your pet. So yes, after the arena you would have to tame another one. Just post up where the monkeys are and tame a new one once the arena match is over. Im sure it will still work but I havent tested it yet.

idk I took combat to 2800 last cata. its burst is the highest in the game out of any class. requires very little setup and is prob the easiest melee to get into 2k with. a blanket silence by a spriest or mage into a cheapshot smokebomb and killing spree will 100-zero any class that has no immunity. it can do 30k dps openers in pvp in a few seconds. even with warriors shield wall you can open and land a kill with 3 buttons.

Warrior really takes a major skillcap hit in Cata. This is the beginning of the spam damage buttons and stack off GCD swifty oneshot nonsense. Arms may have been strong in Wrath balance wise, but it was also rewarded for higher amounts of finesse compared to this version.

how is warrior a major skillcap in cata? It was the worst cheating class in wrath bec it was op, a 1400 player could get 2000 with spamming 3-4 buttons. you will see the warriors go down hard in cata bec there is no skillcap to play it in pvp, if there where, the nerfs would not affect the best players, and the best players does not cheat, so basicly cheaters will struggle in cata ;)

@helloitsme9024 I dunno what you mean basically every class was strong in wrath, yes warrior was among the S tier but BALANCE has nothing to do with the skill cap of a class those are separate things. In some ways warrior is buffed in Cata but it's also simplified a lot (easier to play) and other classes just get buffed MORE. Originally in wrath I was not able to surpass 2400-2500 with most of my teams (although I didn't have access to PvE gear), but in Cata I was constantly beating R1s and blizzcon players on TR and would climb most new teams I made to 2650 or so within a couple play sessions.

Blizzard havent ban those warriors that even stream their scripts on Twitch. Its a joke tbh. The class is known as the cheater class in wrath,and it continues in cata. Tragic.

Not true. Wotlk had more. Wotlk all 4 healers were viable, now, R druid sucks. Wotlk tanks were even viable. Not now. In Cata 2v2 the only viable healer DPS comps are DK healer or feral disc. Everything else is double DPS teams.

@@wh0racle3 2 highest comps right now are arms/hpal and sub/disc. Mage/disc, lock/sham, fire/hpala are also very good. Meanwhile half of viable 2x dps are hunter teams and they are the only class that took a nerf compared to original cata. If anything the meta is healer friendly rn.

I play both feral and sub, i will 100% say sub is the hardest of all melee, regarrdless of how insanly good they are in cata. the class in literually unforgiving by mistakes, as feral you have better defensive options and your cds are shorter than sub. so basicly its a cd trade and if the sub fuck up once he will lose, feral can survive many situations when doing "mistakes". any other melee class is a joke compare to those two classes, especially DK and paladins

Feral's cds are shorter? CR is a 90 sec wall and SD is the only 1 min burst cd in the whole game. When talking about skillfloor rogue is definitely forgiving to mistakes. Neither one has any real weakness except maybe lack of ccbreakers and probably the only reason feral is put higher, is wotlk people not being used to tracking buffs to snapshot good dots.

I lost you at Rets has a lot of defensives, the legit definition of Ret in the dictionary is Wow character having the least defensives Cds out of every class. We have bubble, divine protection and sacred shield proc thats it. Our biggest defensive is actually our burst because it's the only time when we can do one big self heal. If you ever played Ret in 3s in cata, maybe 90%+ of the time you will need to bubble the first enemy CD cycle, leaving you dead basically if you cant do something before the second CD cycle.

Unholy looses to rogues, rets, ferals, warriors and hunters. But only rogue feels like a massive counter, ret is hard because of fear spam on pets, the other 3 are more debatable, at least in s9. Ferals and hunters will get advantage in next seasons. Also BM is harder than MM because more dmg is physical. Marksman looses to enhance, affliction, balance, shadow and maybe ele. So basically any caster that can just outheal you and rot over time. Enh can dispell freedom, keep ranged slow 24/7, ignore slows himself and close gap on wolves with sprint and freedom quickly forcing detter. Out of the bunch only boomkin and warlock feel hopeless, since they just don't need to cast anything. Warlock can just go for insta dots and spam drain life 24/7. Moonkin has 2 defs, 6 sources of dmg all being instants, will fully hot during detter and can start on max range due to stealth which makes sneaking in hots even easier. Best 1v1 specs measured by having low amounts of bad match ups are sub and enh (yes, they are much better in 1v1 than arena), then slightly after them feral and mage (both frost and fire).

I would also say mage is the hardest caster. But for skillfloor i guess you can argue this way. Shadow has to do a lot more to be usefull. A mage can prob get 1400 (if thats the Skillfloor) by just pressing bolt, barrier, sheep and blink.

In the end does not matter, how good someone is, if their class is flaming dumpster in pvp... And that is the case with Frost DK after Legion... A person will be only as strong, as their class/ spec is... How i know this, well is more then simple... Back when i was still new in WOW in MOP/ WOD ( i started in TBC, but still in MOP and WOD i was still new player), i did kill most people with ease as Frost DK.. These days im soo much more skilled, and yet i struggle with about everyone, the class/ specs is just BAD AF, and cant compete with other classes in pvp properly, no matter if the enemy player is way newer and ignorant compared to me..

@@themobster7284it’s circumstantial. I ran eleShaman/ShadowPriest/HolyPaladin to gladiator in Mists of Pandaria. You didn’t see another ele shaman at ANY RATING close to us. It’s about team comp and skill combined to make the best of your spec . Also surprise factor is huge, and enemies underestimating you when you run a taboo spec/comp.

You have to use macros for your teammates for skills like word of glory, hand of protection, hand of sacrifice and hand of freedom, also macros for the focus enemy for repentance, doing damage while healing and supporting isn’t easy, it’s the second most hard class to play

This tier list is full of shht... How ezz is to kill someone as Frost DK back in Cata ? Well is NOT, as the spec has NO insta stun, hungering cold is 2-3 sec cast, that any skilled player wont allow the DK to pull off, and it has only silence, that crap wont stop anyone from running, hiding, healing, or kill someone.. Also Frost had ALOT going on back in Cata like skilled DKs did shift presences, did use necrotic strike to stack heal absorb, and then destroy someone if possible, had no stun, had no mobility the UH has, and was weaker in terms of power... And ret paladin is one of the most brain dead class in pvp since forever PERIOD, the fact they can off heal someone does not mean jack shht, since they are mostly DPS and in arena there is healer, and in 1v1 u are solo.. Also where is fury war, another more brain dead spec... First is paladin, then is fury war, after that is frost DK and UH DK.. Seems u scrubs did not play enough these classes, so u came up with this load of crap.. Frost DK being ezz rotation wise, did NEVER meant, that the spec has higher chance of landing kills, compared to other classes... That was kinda true in MOP and WOD, where Frost DK was very strong... But after Legion the spec is total joke, and landing kills no matter 1v1 or arena, or solo shifle is hard AF...

It's about the skill floor of each class. They even explain it at the start of the video but you probably only skipped through the placements. Gaeladin and fury/ arms war are, way more braindead then Frost or UH DKs... One of then pop chicken wings and can trash others and have full imune, the other have full mele imune die by the sword... If a class has 3 buttons, 1 button or 0 buttons did never matter, what matter is skill, and the balance in PvP... There is macros too, so 5 buttons can be made into 1.. Ezz class is the one that kill about everyone with ease, NO matter if the class has 1 button, or 10 period.......
