If you combo the flamethrower with frost blaster, you can remove the inability to freeze them (indicated by the blue dots around an enemy), good ol frostburn

Pinata shouldve been ranked higher. Its multiplied dmg literally one shots king and vagabond if you do it correctly. And also slingshot shouldve been s or x. Because it literally out heals any damage taken on early stages. When paired with sword or katana.

the bazooka can be really great to spam super/nuclear reaction, and its also a really cool escape plan if paired with grappling hook multi rocket launcher is just pure boss damages, and its pretty questionable to put it in the same rank as rocket launcher to say the least slingshot deserves better, its a simple weapon but has alot of advanced tech and tricks for speedrun/damage behind it the hammer is not that bad, spamming castles and pair them with explosives/freeze ray just makes it cracked, thus its ability to store items is really good too canon ball is really good if u go full basketball mode, and pairing it with bb gun is decent too the trowel provides a cheap option for the early rounds and has really good aoe, and it can do insane lineup with slingshot and firebrand i dont have any opinion on pinata/wrench since i only used them once, but the pinata looks pretty good for combos

If you time it well enough, firebrand can parry multiple projectiles at once and also imbue fire on them, increasing radius and damage this can also work with the parries of the slingshot tree (except the regular slash of tix cuz it doesn’t have an explosion to begin with)

Well there are 2 problems 1:the trowel is only really good if you have explosives, trying to get enemies together to do spawn damage is a nightmare 2:early game is about stages 1-2, you pick 2 weapons at the beginning of the game, but you need a third weapon for the trowel to be effective. So your load out is a normal weapon like the paintball gun, an explosive like the Timebomb, and the trowel which means that it takes longer to unlock upgrades which are more useful I honestly would rather by the trowel later in the game such as after I defeat vagabond or maybe after captain if I have tixplosion. That way it’s more effective.

@@NotFireLeaf because the trowel is similar to to the timebomb and rocket launcher in which it’s way better to combine them with other weapons as they are mostly bad-mediocre by themselves. And considering the fact that the trowel doesn’t really get a lot of value from bricking, it’s hard to use, and it’s outclassed heavily, I put it in D tier. And yes, every weapons take skill and is better with it. But some weapons work better than others based on my experience and feedback I got on the video. The tier list can be subjective based on what people use.

eh, Id put superball and cannonball in A, theres a technique called Hammer Accelerated Rail Cannon (HARC) can be used on both superball and cannonball. also add BB gun to mostly S, its combo with cannonball is mostly the best, with the technique RailGun. Best for dishing out a massive damage on a giant Slingshot is easily about S or X tier. with the use of SoT pogo, often used on speedruns since enemies can get stuck and has alot of combos, also dead coins can be usable again when shot with a grapple hook or bazooka, making you be able to do 6x ricoshot or 6x SoT Also having the mechanic "Chargeback", "Countercast" and "Instant kill"

I actually disagree about pogoing with the firebrand, i find it easier than with the sword. With the firebrand, you can left click right after you dash jump, and it times it perfectly. It also has a larger hitbox making the timing window larger. Nice video tho :D

slingshot is easily S tier for me, one of the best weapons earlygame due to the high damage from the slash of tix ability against bosses while you heal, if you cant parry them well, or easily taking down smaller enemies i disagree saying it should be upgraded as soon as possible since the scatterblaster is only good against noobs which arent as common after a couple levels, or the flamethrower, which has great crowd-control but is significantly tanked because of the percentage, the slingshot can also lead to you acidentally parrying bosses which has happened to me multiple times using the slash of tix ability because you use your sword lol

throwel isnt that bad, it helped me defeat vagabond easily, when the fight starts and he jumps to the arena, just put the stud wall in the place he falls and he will be stunned and you can approach to do a lot of damage at the start of the fight (also gives you the +TRICKED style bonus, can also be +TRICKED when he performs the Slam attack)

Pretty good tier list, though I do wanna give out my 2 cents; -Trowel and pinata could switch places. If not, maybe move pinata down anyways. Trowel, while not a good weapon, can at least do decently against groups of noobs, and the damage of shrapnel is solid as well. Pinata just sucks, having to be babysitted and only really being good against Giants and Cannons. -This is mostly personal bias, but I do think the wrench could go a bit higher. I don't care about the turret itself like, at all, but parrying (Even if it's somewhat subpar) is really damn strong. -I'd lower the BB gun down to A tier. Hitscan bullets are nice, the special ability is fun and quickdraws being actually functional are great boons to have, but they mostly feel like QoL changes to the Paintball Gun, rather than powerful upgrades like most of the S! tier. -Katana probably deserves X!! tier. While it's not great as a primary source of damage, the better parries make it applicable in pretty much any build IMO.

Pretty good response but I would like to say some things 1:if the trowel can only do good against noobs, that doesn’t say a lot because noobs are the most basic enemy in the whole game, it’s also outclassed by the bomb and rocket launcher and the explosive piñata can be atleast somewhat good if you know how to use it 2: I understand your preference to parry with the wrench, but I found the sword to be better at parrying most things, the only exceptions are probably the kings and drakobloxxer attacks, but they’re pretty hard to do with both either way. 3:resonable placement, the BB gun definitely got overshadowed by the frost blaster and it’s only real upgrade is for your bullets to instantly lock into enemies. I kept in in S tier because A:it’s 50 less tix than than frost blaster and B:the instant locking can make aiming easier, but either way, I can understand an A tier ranking 4:pretty good reasoning, there has been some process of elimination considering the fact that I put the top 3 weapons in X!! Tier, but it’s reasonable since S! Is for the best weapons but X!! I believe are the ones that are the most powerful and extraordinary. Maybe the katana could have been X!! If I put the top 5 weapons instead, but I feel like that would be a little bit too much. Anyways, I can respect your opinions and changes you make to the tier list.

Well, there’s more to why I put the trowel in D tier 1:it doesn’t do its job properly, you can very easily be overwhelmed by projectiles because the enemies can either break the wall, attack you from multiple sides, or a horde of melee enemies can simply go around the wall. 2:it’s outclassed, bricking enemies is not all that useful as the bricks don’t hit the enemies as well as the hammer. Not to mention the fact that bomb combos are much more efficient to kill hordes of enemies and is likely to work way more often than the trowel. Not to mention the spawn damage is just a worse version of the rocket launcher as it spawns in a straight line rather than causing an explosion, which is much less effective. 3:buying it early in the game is awful as you don’t really have a lot of weapons to use it with and it is really ineffective, unlike the rocket launcher or sword which can be effective to start with the sword, slingshot, or paintball gun. I honestly would rather use it after I beat vagabond as I already have a good enough loadout to last until I defeat king and get the hammer.

I just tried this out and it could be a pretty useful combo, but that alone cannot affect the tier placement much as there are some arguments like you won’t always get slate skin or the fact that you may not be able to get high in the air without jet boots. If I brought it up because of that it would be in C tier, but because the hammer outclassed it and it’s better to use slate skin with other weapons, I’m keeping the trowel in D tier

Well the aoe damage of the trowel is outclassed by the bomb and hammer, and it can be pretty tricky to use on a group of enemies and your not going to kill a lot of them compared to the bomb or rocket launcher. The trowel really doesn’t have a lot of reasons to be versatile and is outclassed in my opinion, so it ranks as the only weapon in D tier.

Putting slingshot at A is a crime Reason: 1, it have the best core hat(mastery) that buff slingshot lots of damage , which make it deals lots of dps 2,it can pogo just like sword , but you can do it in thrid person and doesn't need the ground just like sword , that makes it more useful in rocket arena 3,it can defeat mark and wizard easily with coin 4, with epic sauce , it can defeat a giant under 10 second 5, slash of tix with witches brew is really good for clearing enemies, especially on rocket arena 8, slash of tix can target those enemies that you can't find And last It can defeat all the boss easily (except king)

1:what’s the achievement you unlock for it? I want to try it out. 2:I think this will be useful depending on how often you pogo. I personally never use it so that plays a role in the ranking, but another person who does might rank it higher 3:I don’t see how it’s easily. The only way I can think of is if you hide somewhere in the map while letting the pellets target the enemy. Otherwise, you still have to dodge attacks, making it harder than other weapons. 4:only real arguments are the fact that you may not always get the sauce and you may have to use it in a scenario where there are no giants. 5:I heard that it’s patched already, but I don’t know for sure so I’ll need to see a video to confirm it’s true. 6:same argument as wizards and marks. Overall, i think I’m probably gonna try out how slingshot works in the later waves myself as I usually upgrade it by wave 15. But overall, I can understand that the tier list is subjective to how the player plays the game and what weapons they use.

1,the achievement is "slingshot mastery" the hat called "night vision goggles 2,pogo can help you escape from enemys when you are low health 3,if you throw a coin when mark shot , you would get +charge back (Tip:use coin when you see yellow line on you) 4, it can still kill the giant under 20 seconds without any gear 5,still working , I tried it yesterday 6,it probably only useful with low health enemies If you use slingshot to fight drakobloxxer, you need to get on his head , use jet boots is a good way to get on his head *also work with parry his sword)

@@davidnite6010 you will always have a sword on your loadouts since swords are good for everything so you will always be able to preform slash of tix, and slingshot on its own with the nv googles will do like 400 dps(headshots) so its extremely good by itself, the tierlist being based on easily usable kinda makes it a beginner weapon tierlist instead of an overall weapon tierlist, slingshot at its peak will kill the first 3 bosses in under 10 seconds with only a sword and slingshot no other weapons, giants die in like 2 seconds, can instant kill noobs with headshot. slingshot and sword with an explosive can kill heavy enemies and clear crowds easily. if you want to see it used properly, check my runs

I don’t agree, the throwing wrench can be pretty difficult to use to hit vagabond and parry him. You would have to build a turret and let it do most of the damage which and you can’t dodge vagabonds attacks forever. So it’s not the best weapon against bosses.

@@davidnite6010 sling is an easy X for multiple reasons 1: combined with sword/katana you can do slash of tix pogos which grant a ton of score and vertical mobility 2: superchaining no explanation needed, oneshot every boss in the game 3: slash chains, easy 5-10 second cap kills, kill jason on first stun, kill vagabond in first stun 4: good lifesteal up close, letting you facetank a lot of the mobs/regen quickly 5: quick coin recharge, especially if you use m1, letting you do small superchains, which do 12k dmg w minimal setup

@@davidnite6010 Trowel can seem simple and bad, but it's basically the god of techniques, you don't need rocket and bomb to shatter a wall , get a sword and redirect a projectile into one to shatter one , now try using this with katana and the headrow accessory (reset trowel/hammer cooldown every wall fragmentation) , and you can basically put down a trowel each second to shatter one, with freeze ray or a freezed bomb you can explode it to do a deeper freezer on enemies, which not only lasts longer but I'm pretty sure deals a LOT of damage when the ice shatters you can inflict fire to it too with a fire bomb , this gets even better if you upgrade to hammer hammer is basically x , trowel is somewhat of an a or b

⁠​⁠​⁠@@mydiscordisnotunfunny76 Some arguments 1:redirecting a projectile with a sword can sometimes be pretty tricky to do and can’t always 100% garuntee hitting the trowel 2:the bricks don’t always hit the enemies you want them to hit, and it often doesn’t. This is more likely with the hammer(which part of why I ranked it higher) but the trowel is unreliable to explode because it often does not hit a lot of enemies unless they are right next to it. 3:the freezing combo can be effective, but it is much more effective to do with the time bomb and subspace tripmine as a large circular explosion is more likely to hit enemies than a bunch of bricks flying around 4: the trowel and hammer aren’t completely necessary to use with with firebrand combos and you can use your tix for a rocket launcher upgrade or subspace tripmine instead of the trowel or hammer. Especially since like a said earlier, the trowel bricks are way less likely to hit more enemies than a circular explosion I can understand ranking the trowel higher if you frequently use it or it’s very effective from experience, but I find it to be terrible at blocking enemies and its combos are outclassed by bomb and rocket launcher ones. That being said, I can respect your opinion.

this tierlist is garbage. while firebrand might be easy and satisfyig to use, it pales in comparison to the katana no endlag feature. subspace is good, but not good enough to rank x. freezeray sucks, even though you can one shot beacons, its charge up time and horrendous aoe makes it garbage, not to mention it costs 200 tix and needs paintball gun to even buy. BB gun is also horrible, the damage isnt that good and the time it takes to charge up a ricoshot is horrible. ninja stars is also bad because of the high cost, it might be good paired with flamethrower, but then again you are spending 350 for something slightly decent flamethrower is meta, how do you even think about putting it lower than x? scatterblaster deserves s rank, it was also meta a while back bazooka is amazing in test.exe as well as making nuclear reactions a piece of cake. and it has good mobility potential as well. slingshot has amazing synergies, and its m1 is really good against every enemy in general. no to mention it also has a headshot damage

@@alex-v8p4h responses 1:firebrand of course is at a disadvantage having slower swings making it harder to parry, especially against king and drakobloxxer attacks. But not all load outs rely entirely on parrying as the game can be played in many different ways. 2:guess if I didn’t use the sub space tripmine a lot it would probably be S! Tier since it still deserves credit for being a major upgrade to the bomb. I figured I put it in X cause I thought it was the best weapon to use in explosion load outs. 3. I really don’t see how the freeze ray is actually that bad, the charge up time isn’t a major hindrance and you can always use the normal shots instead of the stronger shots that need the charge up and the air helps against clearing hordes of enemies. The 200 tix price is probably the biggest issue but it’s fair as the 150 tix price would make it to op. 4.Guess the BB gun could have been A tier due to the frost blaster, but it still has the advantage of being able to instantly lock your bullets onto enemies, so I figured it’s still atleast low S tier 5:ninja stars aren’t horrible, the ability can help you deal high damage to tanks and bosses as well as easily clear hordes, the firebrand combo of course isn’t completely op but it’s atleast helpful and you can bring other weapons that work well with it to. 6: probably the most logical point. Guess there was some bias in the fact that only the top 3 weapons are in X!! Tier. I just figured I only wanted to give it to a couple of weapons I think are extraordinarily good 7. I can see how, but I think the flamethrower kind of prevents that since that’s the option I’m gonna pick majority of the time. 8. I made this video before V2.1 so text.exe wasn’t added there, of course, the bazooka is still good in both campaigns and is probably the best rocket launcher for your load out. I just don’t think it’s good enough to be among the best weapons. 9. Slingshot does have some really good combos, but a major issue I have with it is that it gets weaker in the later stages. So coin techs aren’t gonna help that much sometimes and using it normal is not going to be good against high health enemies. If your very good with it and know some load outs and strategies to use it later in the game, I could understand ranking it higher, but for me, A tier makes the most sense. Overall I think there’s a lot of bias in your opinions. There aren’t many weapons people in the community would say are objectively bad and everyone does have their own weapons they prefer using and there definitely are some people who use firebrand over katana and ninja stars for their load outs, as well as other you and I don’t use. I can respect your opinions but I would suggest to keep this in minds with your opinions.

I know people that dont rely on parrying, however firebrand isnt as good as you think. the m1 damage doesnt increase, and you are better off using something like flamethrower for crowds. the quick melee is unreliable, and for its price its mediocre. 2. i cant really argue with that 3. again, the flamethrower is WAY better and is cheaper than the freezeray 4. lockon is a gimmick, and it really sucks because the main feature is that quickdrawing makes firerate go up by 50%, however its very uncomfortable to pull off for long periods of time. 5. ninja stars are WAY more overpriced than they should be, and something like flamethrower, scatterblaster charge, rocket launcher (or multi), or an imbued subspace would do better. 6. cant really argue 7. i lost here 8. loss again 9. it getting weaker isnt really a problem, since you are probably gonna upgrade it anyway. also the coin helps with defeating big enemies like both versions of marks, outragous enemies in general, and humanoid bosses. I dont see any bias in my opinions, ive used every weapon in the game and I've played since release. there is legit no way i dont know something about the game, unless its some ultra rare super mega puzzle

How can it kill bosses efficiently?the explosion can be pretty difficult to charge up while dodging the attacks and you could probably get yourself killed trying to use it. I could understand using it if you’re skilled in the game and can use the item to your advantage, but it’s hard justifying it over the sub space tripmine.

It sucks at killing any boss other than Jason. Captain constantly jumps across the entire arena, Vagabond is too opresive and too fast to let you charge and hit him with a pinata, and Drakobloxxer just straight up can't be reached with it. Even then, you can only get the pinata on stage 1 with the tixplosion hat, which is probably one of the worst first purchases. The only 3 enemies the pinata has any real use against are Giants, Cannons (If the game feels like registering all explosions against them) and maybe King if you're good at baiting him.
