Where's the saint? I have no idea if anyone else uses it but it is literally the only fairway driver I throw. It is like a river but 9-speed. I don't even use distance drivers at all because it glides SO FAR with a good hyzerflip. I love it.

Saint and Escape are same disc, just diferent name. One is Latitude and the other Dynamic Disc. That said I bag three air escapes. For years it was my primary driver should be swanky deluxe. Tee Bird is a shorter utility disc compared to an escape

You guys know the Valkryie held the world distance record for like 10 years right? The thing is an absolute joy to throw. The first disc I ever hit 330 with. I love/bag the Essence but the Valk always seems to do it better.

I know that the explorer from latitude 64 is number-wise a copy of a teebird, but I prefer the feel just a bit and is very reliable and versatile. Has earned 2 spots in my bag.

I got the opto one and its one of the straghtest discs ive ever thrown with a nice fade at the end. Its my go to for longer tunnel shots.

Valk is pretty understable even in champion plastic. That's why most pros don't use them and they are more for beginners. Kind of a trash disc for anyone with armspeed.

I'm honestly surprised the lat 64 Saint or Westside Underworld did not make the list. They both hold great lines, and glide really well. Even falls into the category of distance drivers for beginners

Saint is my jam, almost always comes back when I need it, holds a brilliant straight line before fading, and now that I can flip it a bit it bombs. It's like a beat in teebird out of the box!

They snubbed the heat for beginners which is wild. It’s a great beginner disc. The Saint was one of my first discs I ever bought as a beginner count bomb it. Love my Underworld.

My favorite fairway driver is the TL3. When you want a little more than a Leopard3 but a little less stability that a Teebird3.

Same. A used Champion TL3 replaced my C-line FD that I got scared to lose (cuz irreplaceable) and my Luster Leopard3 that I lost. More stable than the Essence, which is also okay.

Two favorite fairways are Valkyrie and the Axiom Fireball (if that counts). Valk was my first fairway driver so I have just gotten really used to it by now

Didn’t see the innova sidewinder on this list. Easily my best fairway driver. Can throw it super hyzer and it flattens out and goes straight or adjust angle to get a fade left or right. Or anhyzer it and watch it roll! Underrated disc for sure.

I love the Essence. I have thrown most fairway drivers in existence and the Essence fits my hand and arm speed the best of all the fairway discs I've thrown. I also have a full set of Viking discs and think they make good to great discs. Their Loki is a great super over-stable utility putter. The Cosmos is a disc that I've found has completely different flight characteristics based on the plastic type. The Storm plastic is way more under-stable than their Armor plastic on the Cosmos. It's like having a Thunderbird in the Armor plastic and a Roadrunner in the Storm plastic. Same feel in the hand but completely different shot shapes.

My fave is the Essence by far. Love the Glide! Although I'm one of the 10 disc golfers in the world who hasn't tried a Firebird that's on my list to buy next. I made the mistake of buying a base plastic Leopard 3 and the dog whined when I plopped it down in front of her.

Leopards suck, but Leopard3's are awsome. I bag a Fd which is very similar in flight and feel to the Leopard3. Surprised Fd2 was on there over the Fd. Weren't there 3 different molds of the fd2?

I bag both an undertaker and a lucid escape and the escape is a bit more stable of a disc for me. I use it for flex shots in the woods where I can put a bit of anhyzer on it and count on it to fade without dumping like my firebird.

I actually prefer the prime burst escape. I love the feel of it, but I also have a lucid for my woods courses around me. It can take far more punishing tree hits.

I have the cosmos and it's so incredibly understable. I throw it on a steep heizer and it still wants to turn into a roller almost every time.

Got one as a gift. Uselessly understable. I say that as someone who throws a (pro) Leopard, Essence and other flippy discs. It's a shame because the Armor plastic feels nice.

Man... the FX-2 slander. I bag 3, and it's slowly becoming my go to fairway. 400 and 400G beats up soooo nice and makes it super versatile. The FX-2 is slowly phasing out the firebird😬.. but my marwede firebird is hanging in there.

if I had a guess I'd say it's less stable than the firebird as I have never bagged, but I cannot throw a bad shot with this disc. perfect for shaping anhyzers slightly and going pretty straight with dependable fade when thrown flat to slight hyzer. I can say the feel of the 400g plastic could be better the disc is rough on the hands in the cold too but I love it.

@@ryanlarsen9096 Sadly, I had to stop throwing the FX-2 cause it was literally tearing up my hands. Something about the rim shape/the way I hold the disc on a forehand was just tearing up my finger. Still a great disc, but wasn't worth the pain

The 2021 tour series Heat flies really well, and the grip and feel in the hand is really nice. I’ve thrown a flat one and a domey one the entire summer and never flipped either one over. Great for shot shaping and woods disc golf too.

i absolutely agree, i got two Hailey King Signature Heats. One is understable as expected but the other one is really (over-)stable, can flip it to flat but it fights out of it quickly and fades left

Inova does consider Valkyrie a distance driver but I would have to agree that it's more of a fairway driver. I bag it in several plastics one of my go-to discs and we can't forget it was the world record distance disc for several years back in the day. It definitely should not be a disc that's in I would throw it over water and because of its history it might even be a disc that should be considered swanky.

The stag is a way better fairway over the hatchery from west side. The hatchet is a great beginner disc but the stag is a great every level disc

I find my beat in Z Stalker to come in handy, especially with wooded shots. But I'm guessing you guys probably don't have much experience throwing Stalkers. If not, I'd be curious where that would rank.

My rankings of ones I've thrown- Swanky- Innova Teebird, these flew straighter for me than the T3 DD Felon, StreamLine Lift Great- Discraft Passion, Lat64 Explorer, MVP Insanity, Innova Firebird, Discmania Splice Good- Innova Valk/SideW/RoadR, DD Escape, Discraft Undertaker DD Maverick Over Water- Discraft Heat MVP Volt/Terra Innova Thundybird, unless I've spent a year breaking it in Innova TL/TL3 DD Vandal Innova Leopard

Reptilian Disc Golf's Stego is like a lower speed tilt. Crazy overstable it just fades super hard and gets to the ground fast.

The real answer no one seems to mention is prodigy A2 in 500. It is incredibly overstable and even has a similar profile just with a slower rim.

If you don't like the Heat, you likely don't have good form. The Heat has way more glide than the Hatchet, and is way more consistent than the Roadrunner. We'll agree to disagree but it's a killer woods flick disc if you have the touch.

I have thrown many great shots with an escape. I have both the lucid and prime burst. It has a very predictable flight and feels great in the hand. Not sure why you even rank a disc you have never thrown.

I'm a fan of the Lat 64 Musket. I guess 10 speed is straddling fairway and distance categories, but mine flies so straight I think of it as a fairway.

2nd this. Depending on plastic and wear can be anything from slightly overstable to hyzer flip, but always reliable. Neutral point-and-shoot disc.

@@Jiraya27 My Explorers are all Gold Line plastic. Would not want anything else. Just like my Westside, Underworld. That is in their Tournament plastic and it is almost the same as the Gold Line.

@@prattacaster I have never thrown the hybrid. I know the Gold Line is very stable and on a flat release with some power, you can turn the disc over before it fades and finishes left. I've thrown mine down a few tunnel shots and worked nicely.

Don't forget! The Tilt can fly like a decent disc when thrown upside down! I don't know any other disc that can do that. Plus, the disc looks AMAZING!

My 3 recent 170 leopards are more stable than my Orc, even into a 15mph headwind, as well as my Valkyrie. Did the oven break-in 3 times and although there was slight improvement still almost no flex. My Archon, however flexes really nice from hyzer to flipped into ani, and dump on any headwind above 10mph or so. Totally put off by Innova discs recently, and never liked Innova putters and mids, making the bag change to Kastaplast. BERG GANG!!

throwing a new 400g fx-2 in 30 degrees farenheight is not ideal and the feel isnt the best but I think it's just fine honestly. curious to see what you think of the flight as firebird swanky approved, truly surprised to see no explanation on the flight of this disc.

Agreed with the list but the cosmos in my experience is not a good disc. It was understable as *you know what* and after one tree hit the rim bent down and deformed.. still used it when I needed the disc go hard left and never come back (left handed player) not a dog toy (even thou it did end up as one) but not good at all
