Charlotte, give your Wayne Goss pallet to someone a bit older who doesn’t want pigmented shadows. Some of us oldies with wrinkly eye lids prefer subtle soft pigments. I have to be careful with the Pat McGrath’s and Natasha Denona’s (still love them though 😉) but with the Wayne Goss pallets I don’t have to think about being careful, they are both just perfect for me and I really love them both. I love all of your choices, I have some of them and share your joy 👌

My surprise favorite was Mel's Tiny Marvels Sydney Grace collab, one of my most used palettes. I also enjoy my Natasha Denona mini Star palette, like the colors and the easy eye looks I can create with it.

Omg I love the Viseart Paris edit pallet!! One of my favs I picked up this year!! I do have a fairer complexionso that could be why!🤷‍♀️ I also picked up ND mini Retro, Midi glam, CT pillow talk quad, Mel’s SG pallet and the Viseart Quad in Praline and I honestly can’t rank them as I love them equally! I feel like if I rank them I’m being mean!!! 😝😂

The viseart Paris is really one of my favorites as well. It broke my heart it came in so low. But we all have our preferences and skin tones. I'm more fair as well and I'm always floored by what I get out of that tiny powerhouse of a palette!!! I'm also addicted to the brand now. I got the neutral mattes and cool mattes. I even got the warm edit for a friend's birthday. The coy is next on my list. 😉

I think Tiny Marvels is my favourite, I reach for more than anything else I've bought this year... even recognised it as soon as I saw your eye look. I live the bottom right quad most but I agree the greens in that palette were the answer to my previously unable to wear green face having green eyes. After that it gets dicey 😬 very much depends on my mood. I think that's why Tiny Marvels is my favourite...I can find a look in it no matter what my mood is.

Love your candid and entertaining reviews! I'm not surprised by your top rankings...and I share many of your thoughts about the palettes you ranked (though I ranked them differently). My top palette is definitely the Mel X Sydney Grace Tiny Marvels Palette... yes, even above ND glam. I could not deal with ND bronze, and while I have the PMG DR 1, DR 2 doesn't do it for me. I might pick up the CT fire rose based on your recommendation now!

I can’t decide if I want to get the Natasha Denona Bronze palette or the Pat McGrath celestial palette? My favorite palette I purchased in 2020 is definitely the Natasha Denona Glam Palette! I love my neutral colors and sparkly ✨ shades! I wish I could get the Divine Rose palette 1 and 2 the shades are absolutely perfect and GORGEOUS!!!

Love this ranking. Lol. My personality was definitely Divine Rose 2 at one time, now I’m more of a Divine Rose 1. Oh. I just received the Divine Rose 1, my 1st Mothership, and ND Bronze palette. Love them. The Glam palette isn’t really me, plus I have ABH Sultry. I need to try some of the other top ones you have, since I have somewhat the same coloring as you.

I need to use the Mel Thompson collab more. The quality of Sydney Grace is impeccable. I especially love the greens in it. It’s in my top 5. I think Celestial Divinity is my favorite and I really didn’t want to buy it since I own the Star Wars palettes. But the Black Friday pricing got me.

I’m boring like you... my favorite palette is In my birthday suit of Mulac. I don’t know if you have heard of this brand but you really should try it. The second row of shimmers is a dream... they must be used with a glitter primer but the result: people can see you from Mars.. And then you have the mattes... so nice and easy to blend. There are warm and cool tones... A very dreamy and complete palette. You can take it with you on a trip and you could realize every kind of look you want.

It’s funny how sometimes a palette looks right up your street but you find you don’t reach for it often. That happened to me with the Viseart Paris Edit. I love the colour story but I find I don’t reach for it very often. Like you I have other palettes I like better. It’s really disappointing when that happens. It also happened to me with the large New Nudes palette from Huda beauty when it came out. I think you’re right that the Mini Retro would look better on lighter skin tones. I love mine.

I think you just pointed out what turns me off the large CT palettes...I absolutely loathe that layout, with the rectangular strips for pans...can't stand it!!! Reminds me so strongly of the traditional drugstore palette layout...I just can't associate that layout with high quality...I can't 😖
