Ranking EVERY Gigantamax Pokémon From Worst to Best - Pokémon Sword and Shield

Pokemon Sword and Shield has introduced a new concept known as Gigantamaxing, where Pokemon not only become huge in size like Dynamaxing, but also change appearance. Only select Pokemon are able to Gigantamax, and a good handful of them received these forms in the games. Today, I am going to rank every single Gigantamax form in my own opinion from worst to best, and explain to you why I like or dislike every single one of them! I hope you enjoy!

You know what angers me? The Gigantamax-clouds being attached to bodyparts, like Charizards and Pikachus tails, so that if they attack with their tail the clouds swoop along with them. That's not how clouds work and even though it's small it's something I find seriously distracting!

Gigantamaxing was disappointing. I was really excited about it, but when I found out how hard it was get a gmax form during a playthrough of the game I was disappointed. Unlike z moves and mega evolutions you cant really use these forms during the game unless you get luck or go out of your way. The designs are cool, I just think the way they implemented the mechanic sucked :(

Same here.. I was also disappointed that I couldnt Gmax the pokemon I had raised through my journey. If I wanted to use a gmax centiskorch that meant I had to completely replace mine for some random one I catch on the raid. Sure maybe its not that big of a problem for some but I get too attached to just toss them for another. I really was hoping it would work out like Z moves or megas where you get a special item for it.

Gmax is just a giant nuke gimmick. Both pokemon get big, they get massive stats boosts, double health, and smack eachother for 3 turns. All it is, is just a nuke. Its no surprise it was banned from comp.

Technically the gimmick for gigantmax corviknight is the fact that it’s a discount Arsenal Bird in the Ace Combat series. The Arsenal Bird is awesome, but G-max Corvinknight is nowhere as epic as the sheer insanity of the Arsenal Bird, which is a shame.
