I think Sam Carpenter is severely underrated. I think the idea of her being a good person, a final girl, but has that loomis evil in her as well, makes her so interesting. Her killing Richie was so amazing. Once Sam let’s some of the psycho out, she’s amazing. We only got it for a little bit in 5. I think we’ll see a lot more in 6.

Funny how Mia is probably the only character in this list to be the protagonist,antagonist as well as the final girl of the movie. Evil Dead(2013) is such an underrated horror flick.

Terminator 1 is a horror movie, 2 is a horror/action that leans more towards action but I enjoy the action because it’s used to portray how unstoppable the terminator is where as with any other horror icon their victims scream and run and don’t actually try fighting back until the end. Sarah doesn’t try run once she understands what’s happening and from then on she does nothing but prepare and fight back partly because like Ripley no one believes her so she has no choice but to rely on herself

I think most of us begun to like Sam in the third act with her willingness and attack on RIchie and from the scream 6 trailer she looks to be bringing that same vibe. Hope she can move up on your list soon (:

Ellen Ripley and Sarah Connor are the Ultimate Final Girls. I would argue that Clear Rivers isn't a Final Girl at all, she does literally nothing. Lupita is evil, more like the villain. Strode belongs on the very bottom tear, can't stand her.

Clear belongs in the third category, and Rachel belongs in the "I think you got lucky," not flop considering how well the film did and she needed to carry most of it. FYI: why didn't you include Jenna Ortega from Scream 5. The stronger final girl out of the two sisters. Joking Answer; You forgot Rowan from the Jason series, only final girl I can think of from that series (besides Alice who dies immediately in the second film). And you also have the movie called "Final Girls."

Unpopular opinion: Laurie Strode is not a great final girl. At least not in the first two Halloweens. She barely gets through it and just kinda wines the whole time. Her character is sweet and I root for her, but like… You can’t just like a guy with a knife and then put it down and cry. She DOES become a badass in H20, but with those wonky timelines it’s hard to rank her cause her character isn’t consistent. And Resurrection does her so dirty.
