I mean Jesus man, it very much might be the most genius, artistic and emotional video game I have ever played. The reason why Mystery of Volcano looks like that is because in times when they were making this, platformers were "dying" and they wanted to release it as fast as possible to make any money of it. Anyway, It's pretty cool ranking, but I would change reboot with Round 2.

i really played only 2022 version few weeks ago and its nice :) graphics physics,story and locations.we waiting more game of this series for example like spongebob cosmic shake

I disagree on the placement of Kao 3, I'd put it above Kao 1 personally (maybe my favouratism is talking but idc). Also it was supposed to be a bigger game, there were supposed to be multiple islands as seen in the concept art, if you're wondering why they're not in the games..... Small budget caused by the rise of shooter games, and fun fact the screenshot on the steam page are actually beta screenshots

If they make a sequel to the reboot, it would give them the potential to fix the issues of the previous game and the make the new one even better! Also, I can see why the third game never got a console release and didn't come out of Poland until they re-released the entire trilogy on PC, as it really is weak compared to its predecessors. And yet it's still not as bad as the GBA game.

I think it looks like it would be pronounced like “cow” but it’s supposed to be a reference to K.O. (Knock out) because kangaroos are known for boxing 🥊
