It’s interesting how much disparity there is between the design Canto II dungeon bosses. One is one of the only abno bosses I can think of that can be beaten in a single turn, while the other two are slogs that take four turns minimum. The one thing I will give the dungeon praise for (and this praise is also true for Canto I and III) is actually having abnormalities that fit the environment or make sense thematically, unlike Canto IV and V which just went “oh yeah they were all just being stored in the lab and got sucked in by the bough” or “oh yeah the whale at ‘em and they’re just chilling in its gut”.

nelly was a really fun boss for me becuase i remebered the game gave me a very nice once a day tool that halves the speed of enemies for a turn

Fun fact! Los Mariachis Jefe Sinclair can evade the robot's grabby move. I know this because I only have 5 Sinking IDs and he's technically one of them.

He's not the only one! There are actually a lot of IDs who can avoid it, like Cinq Outis and Tingtang Hong Lu. You just need to be able to roll a 15(?) I think

1:14:15 but did you know? He is the only abno (for now) that can revert the resistance of the only tier V ego gift named lunar memory. Yeah I learn it the hard way with the poise bl-maid team on floor 5 as I tend to stack hp rather than clash power for the enemy
