1:31:00 It’s a solved game at the 1v1 as Jacob said. Force your opponent onto a multiple of 3 and they can’t do anything to win. They choose 1, you pick 2, they lose. They choose 2, you choose 1. Repeat until game is over.

i remember seeing something about day at the races not being RNG, pretty sure coney talked about it during or after his party of 1 stream since he got stuck on it for so long

It's not PURE rng. The racers have different animations before being selected that indicate whether they will be Fast, Average, or Slow. (See "Identifying Luck: Mario Party 2" at timestamp 1:51:27 for the visuals) Choosing a Fast racer has your best chances of winning, with the exception of Thwomp, who genuinely sucks ass and wins the least often regardless of his gumption. It's still RNG though, even Slow Thwomp makes the top two about 1/3 of the time.

My man really about to rank a 2 v 2 psuedo soccer game from Mario Party 9 as his favorite Mario Party game of all time. Very sad emoji moment from a 20ish year experienced Mario Enjoyer myself. But so far I am vibing with most of what you ranked.

1:31:10 it's not actually solved, the amount of fruits can be different, making the solution change

You can solve it on the spot. The formula is the same regardless of the fruits. It just isn't guaranteed who it's solved for. Solved with RNG on who wins if both players know what they're doing.

When it's down to two players, it's solved. This is a specific case of the strategy game called nim. If you end your turn with a multiple of 3, you win. Otherwise you lose. With three or more players it's much more interesting. Sometimes one person will end up in a "kingmaker" scenario, where they get to choose which opponent they screw over. I love those moments in minigames.
