Omg Jacob please be really careful with Califia farms I used to LOVE their products but I drank one of their bottled coffees one time and didn’t notice it had mold growing inside the top of the lid which was sealed. it had been stored properly, wasn’t expired or anything. I got an allergic reaction, had intestinal bleeding, and when I reached out to them about it were superrrr shady and all they did was sent me a coupon 😩 I was sick for like 3 days, had to spend $400 on doctor appts and tests to make sure I didn’t have e.coli, and they refused to reimburse me for any of it and sent me ONE SINGLE COUPON for a product of equal or lesser value. Found a bunch of reviews online where people said they found mold or issues with theirs too. I tried to figure out how to pursue legal action and it turns out it’s pretty difficult when the consumer isn’t in the same state as where it’s made. So just please be careful with their products! It’s a shame because it really is good but I worry about their bottling procedures

Not totally related but I feel as I should share an elementary school milk story: so in my school there was chocolate milk, 1% regular milk, and occasionally apple juice (but it wasn’t very good - super watered down.) any who, everyone would want the chocolate therefore you would have to get into the lunch line first or else you would not get chocolate milk because they simply did not have enough chocolate milk for 40 3rd graders. One day I was late to the line and I’m one of those people who have to drink something for the food to go down (but now looking at it they literally didn’t even have water to drink) so I had to drink regular milk that day, I cried, the end. :)
