5:46 at least SC3 kinda goes back to the more asymmetric style by given this design to Arthur but taking away one of his pauldrons.

Everybody knows that SCV has the most unique version of Mitsurugi, but we can't forget how iconic was his design in SC1(pretty much every design after has that asymmetric aesthetic) and how different his looks are, that frowny face gives Mitsurugi such an "Ice Cold Killa" vibe to him. What a shame that the later games decided to stick with the more "Unga Bunga" personality.

I would say his SC6 Design works best. As you mentioned, they took inspiration from 1 and 2 and made it better. And I like the somewhat younger look on him while still making him mature(ish... more on that later) and kept his gun scars. What bothered me though is his personality in SC6; the voice actor is fine and all, but I didn’t like the fact that the writers dumbed him down significantly. It’s like they turned him from an honorable samurai/ronin to a stereotypical dumb jock to a degree. I hope that aspect changes in the next game

Agreed. I do think there's some merit to using him for comic relief considering he's pretty uninvested in the story's major conflict, but it kind of took over his whole personality in SCVI. I hope he doesn't become a joke like Paul and Law from Tekken did.

I believe his SCV is the coolest one, to me is a 10/10, if you do Taki one day it would probably be your shortest video hahah, the costumes are too similar. Btw Great video, this is my first video that I watched from your channel. I am subscribing now !

Why do you stop showing the in game modell mid video very lazy of you.

I only included the in-game model for the early games since there were often disparities between them and the artwork. From IV onward, the artwork is pretty reflective of what the costumes actually look like. That said, I’ve started including them in more recent episodes since MortarJean updated the wiki with high-quality turnarounds.
