Sure 100 or so are meaningless but I would say a very few moons make you feel nothing. I would say odyssey reaches the highest of peaks in mario but it's not the same as in something like galaxy or 3d world. Different strokes for different folks. That's why I love the mainline mario games, they all do something different.

On 625, there's eventually a pair of lava cannons that shoot you above and past this tall platform. The intended method is to dismount a Lava Bubble at the right time to land on it. For the Invaders, what you're expected to do is Goomba stack up, dismount, and land on it. That's why it's got the lines of razors, they're obstacles for a big enough stack. Trying super precise jumps is just overcomplicating a pretty simplistic miniboss idea.

For example, if there’s a Moon in a high place in Metro Kingdom, you could try platforming up there, warping to the top of a building close by, or jumping from the spire on top of New Donk City Hall. Even the most bland Moons in Super Mario Odyssey have multiple different ways to approach them, and though this could definitely be improved, it makes them more enjoyable for me.
